"Awuuu!" I run to the carriage pulled by Misae.
Seeing me running to it, Misae flaps its wings happily.
Almost blowing the carriage off.
"Awu~"
Ahhh.... so soft~
I bury my head in Misae's feathers.
Lick. Lick. Lick
"Awu wu wu!" That tickles!
I separate from Misae and pat its head.
"Awu?"
Hm? What is this?
While patting Misae's head, my hand came across two small bumps.
"Awu...?" Horns?
On a feathered dragon?
Weren't they hornless?
"Awu, awuu?" I separate my hand from Misae in confusion, but-
"Myuuu." Misae cries out and moves its head along my hand so my hand landed on the two bumps again.
"Awu?" I tilt my head to the side.
Is Misae trying to tell me something?
"Awuuu?" I touch the two bumps again.
"Myu~ Myu~ Myu~" Misae closes its eyes and rubs the bumps against my hand.
"Aw... u?" Ah! Does it hurt over there? Is it uncomfortable? Or perhaps itchy?
I put a little more strength to my fingers and watch Misae's reaction.
I will stop or continue depending on Misae's expression.
"Myuyuyu~" Misae starts purring?
"Awu?" En? Looks like she is not pain.
Then, is she itchy?
I try gently scratching the two bumps.
"Myuyu~yuyu~" Misae lets out a sound of satisfaction and her front legs drop on knees.
"Awu!" It looks like it was really itchy after all!
"Hm? Did you figure something out?" Teddy who was sitting on the driving seat asks me.
"Awuwu?" What does he mean- I totally overlooked him! I'm so sorry teacher!
"Misae was acting really weird lately, you see. One time, she broke out of her stable and destroyed almost every tree in the courtyard by bumping her head against them." Teddy explains.
Hmm... I see... her?
So Misae is a girl?
I didn't know!

Which is quite weird.
Feathered dragons are not supposed to have horns.
And among the other species of dragons, weren't only males have supposed to have horns?
If I'm correct then, is Misae even a dragon...?
Miss, just what is going on with Misae? I ask myself while gazing at Miss.
"So, have you figured something out?" Teddy asks again.
"Awu! Awuawuawu..." I beckon Teddy to come closer.
"Ahahaha... I'd rather not. Why not show His Highness instead?"
"This King is feeling tired today, Drake you have a look." Prince Si puts his right hand on his forehead and pushes Prince Shiyu forward with his left hand.
"Eh? Oh... Leave it to me."
Prince Shiyu timidly walks towards me and Misae.
"Ahaha... Hello again, Misae. It's me, Drake. The one who found you as a pup in the forest, ahaha..." Prince Shiyu says with a sweat dripping down his forehead.
