Chapter 4

"Mummy! Mummy!" Peanut leaped on top of me as he pulled the duvet.

"Baby, it's only-" I said while carving my right eye.

"Good morning babe." Simon was on FaceTime.

"Good morning Konecki" I smiled, yawned and stretched.

"Daddy! Daddy! Tell mummy!" Angelo butted in and the holes of his nose appeared on the screen.

"Lol calm down peanut." I sat him on my lap.

"What is it babe?" I asked Simon who was smiling at us.

"I have good news and bad news Delly." He faintly smiled.

"Bad news first." I stroked peanut's hair.

"I'm going to stay 3 more weeks here." He pouted.

"What? You were supposed to be here next next week babe." I groaned.

"Yeah I know, I need to settle something here for the company."

"Tell the good news daddy!" Peanut squealed.

"I'm going to stay forever with the two of you babe!" Simon said enthusiastically.

"You mean, you don't need to fly back and forth?" I widened my eyes.

"Yes yes Delly!"

"Oh my God! I'm excited babe!"

"Can't wait to see the both of you, I missed you." Simon half smiled.

"We missed you too babe, we love you." I was already teary eyed.

AUTHOR'S POV

"Where are you?" Alex said on the other line.

"I'm already here in Canada, missed me?" Claire smirked.

"No bitch lol. So what's the news about Simon?"

"He's going to go back there in 3 weeks, you better start your plan asshole."

"I know, I know. You? Have you started already?"

"Nope, I'll sneak to his office tomorrow to get his schedules."

"That's my baby!" Alex smirked.

"I'll send the pictures, make sure Adele would receive it okay? I want to break that bitch's heart, lol I mean Simon." Claire laughed slyly.

"Poor motherfuckers, little did they know." Alex let out a breathy laugh.

ADELE'S POV

"Are you all ready?" I asked my students with slight tremble on my voice.

"Yes we are teacher Adele!" They all smiled.

"Delly, the show is about to start." Sufian peeped through the classroom's door.

"Alright, we'll be there." I raised my thumbs and took a deep breathe.

"Okay, this is it babies! Make the most out of it!" We all went backstage.

We heard people talking and chatting but after about 5 minutes they all quieted down.

"Ready Adele. In 3, 2, 1, go." Sufian signaled and we all went to the stage and started performing.

After the performance, the chills subsided from my body. People stood up and clapped their hands loudly. I couldn't even heard my own heartbeat because of their applauses.

"That was great baby!" Mum went to me as soon as I got off of the stage.

"Thanks mum!" I hugged her and got peanut from mum.

"Mummy! You're an angel!" Angelo pecked my cheeks.

"Thank you baby, thank you!" I kissed his forehead.

Laura, Jessie and Sufian congratulated me too.

"Babe, someone's looking for you." Laura said.

"Who was it?" I glanced on my left and never expected who it was.
