Chapter 8

2 months later

"Hey Smoke." I waved to security.

"What's up Kellcey? When are you finally give in and start working here?" He asked.

"You know I'm just here to pick up Angel." I said Anika's stage name.

Sometimes I come inside and wait on Anika to get done working.

Her shift was almost up she was just doing a lap dance.

"Oh shit." I mumbled when I saw Kyle, Major, Bone and their whole crew walk in.

I rushed to Anika and pulled her away.

"Kellcey what's wring with you? I still have 20 minutes left."

"Yo man is here and so is your cousin." I told her which made her face drop.

"Oh shit." She said the exact same thing I said.

"Exactly." She started pacing.

"What the fuck am I gonna do?" She started freaking out.

"Can't you just leave early?" I asked.

"No, I could get in trouble and I can't afford to lose this job."

Just then her boss, Sams came up to us.

"Angel go to VIP."

"Can't one of the new girls do it?" It really look like she was about to cry.

"No, I told them I would send them my best and that's you, so get yo ass up there." He walked away.

"Kellcey what am I gonna do? I don't want Kyle or Bone to see me like this." She waved down at her thong and bra.

"Y'all don't have like masks or something?" I asked.

"Okay then never mind." I said when she looked at me like I was stupid.

"I told you to tell Kyle."

"Now is not the time to say 'I told you'." She fussed.

"I think you're just gonna have to go up there and make sure they don't see your face. The lights are low so hopefully that'll help." I shrugged.

"I can do this." Nika breathed in and out.

"I'll be over her watching, if you need me just yell my name." I said.

"You got this." I slapped her butt as she walked away.

I moved closer so I could hear and see.

Everything was going okay so far.

"Wait a minute." Bone stood up.

"Fuck." I mumbled.

"Anika, what the fuck are you doing here?" He snatched her up.

"Well, you see...um..." She started to explain.

"Anika? I thought you said you worked at Walmart." Kyle turned her to him.

"Nika it's about that time." I popped up surprising everybody.

Before anybody could say anything I grabbed Anika's hand and took off towards the locker room where the girls change at.

"Thank you for saving me but how are we gonna get outta here?" She asked me.

I thought of it for a second before I got an idea.

I walked out to my car to see Bone and Kyle standing there. I guess their friends decided to stay.

"Where Nika at?" Bone asked. I could tell that him and Kyle were pissed.
