Chapter 14

"Yo ass is grass." Anika said I when told her what happened.

At this point I didn't give a damn about the bet.

"Don't you think I know that." I snapped at her.

"When is he suppose to be coming?" Faith asked.

"Tomorrow." I answered.

"He is gonna kill me." I groaned.

"I say you let him meet Major." Faith suggested.

"What?" she asked when me and Nika stared at her.

"Are you feeling okay?" I felt on her forehead.

"Yeah, why do you ask?" she swatted my hand.

"Because you hate him and 'his type'." Anika answered.

"I know but I see how much you like him so I guess I'll have to accepted him." Faith said.

"Aw, look at you growing up." I cooed.

"Hush." she smiled and rolled her eyes.

"I agree with Faith." Anika said.

"I swear the end of the world is coming." I commented. Faith is being open minded and Anika is agreeing with Faith.

"Shut up." Anika nudged me. "But for real, you and Major are dating-" I cut her off.

"Woah, I don't know if we're dating." I said.

"Yeah because two people who spend almost everyday together and clearly have feelings for each other is not considered dating." Anika rolled her eyes.

"Kellcey, you say your brother controls everything in your life right?" Faith asked.

"Yeah."

"Well this could be your way  of telling him that you're growing up."

"You have a point." I agreed.

"Good, then it's settled, Major is gonna meet Papa Aaron's fine ass." Anika started biting her lip.

"Can you stop fantasizing about my brother?" I asked her. Every time I talk about any of my brothers she gets this look on her face.

"I'm sorry, it's just so hard not to." she whined.

"You better quit before I tell Kyle." I threatened.

"Kyle is not gonna do shit." she brushed me off.

"Mhm you say that now."

"Uh, Faith." I got her attention while she was deep in her phone.

It had been going off the whole time we were talking. I assumed it was Corey because Faith said he hates not having her attention.

"Yeah."

"How'd you get that bruise?" my fingers brushed against her wrist.

"I, uh, hit my wrist on the desk in my room." she quickly pulled on her sleeve.

"You've been really clumsy lately." Nika stated. I nodded my head in agreement.

"You guys know I've always been clumsy but I have to go, let me know how everything works out." she chuckled before grabbing her things and leaving.

"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" I lookd at Anika.

"You know it."

"I'm gonna have my brother look into Mr.Corey." I said.

"Same goes with Bone." Nika started typing on her phone.
