Faith POV
16 months. That's how long Major had left in his sentence and I saw how it was effecting Kellcey and Cedric every day, it was heartbreaking. Although everyone knew he was set up they couldn't prove that the police were behind it but luckily Major had a really good lawyer who got his sentence reduced.
Of course since it was affecting Cedric, this whole thing had an effect on me too. Yeah, me and Major weren't close or anything but I know how much he means to my best friend and my boyfriend, and if they're hurting, I'm hurting which is why we're having a girls day and later tonight I plan on doing something special for Ced.
"So what y'all go planned on today?" Cedric asked me on FaceTime while I got ready. It was the weekend and I finally had a day off, between school and work I barely had time to do anything else.
"I don't know, probably go to the mall, get some food, maybe go see a movie or something." I shrugged.
"You need some money?" this was something he always asks me no matter how many times I told him no.
"No, I told you I been getting good tips lately so I have some extra money," I explained even though I knew it was useless.
"Ceddy." I gave him a straight face when I received a CashApp notification.
"What I tell you about calling me that ugly shit?" he ignored me.
"I think it's cute but don't change the subject! I told you about sending me money." I complained but it fell to deaf ears.
"Turn around, lemme see if that ass gettin' fatter." He ignored.
"Boy," I laughed cause he knew I didn't have a lot of curves.
"I'm being deadass Faith." and I knew he was but I couldn't take him serious.
"Bye Ceddy, I'll call you when we're done." I hung up.
I finished getting ready when Kellcey texted me and told me they were outside which made me quickly grab my stuff and lock up.
"Oop my bitch Faith gettin' thick on us!" Kellcey hyped me up when I got to the car.
"Let us find out Ced been hitting those spots." Anika added on.
Me and Anika have definitely gotten along a lot better since I've been on my own. We actually have a lot in common and she was really cool, I wish I hadn't been so harsh and judgmental before.
"I meannn, she hasn't denied it." Kellcey and Anika both gave me a look waiting for an answer.
"No we haven't don't anything but I plan on changing that soon." I smirked.
"Ooh bitch! Are you nervous?" Anika asked as she began driving.
"Girl yes, I mean I've had sex before but only once was consensual. I'm scared I'm going to freak out." I spoke honestly.
