Chapter 41: this is just the start

The music drowned us in the car as we laughed and danced to the songs. Daniel would constantly dance weirdly to each song and I would act like a super star and we would both laugh at ourselves. He laughed at a moment and I did the same I honestly didn't know what he was laughing about now.
"Whats so funny?" I asked.
"Nothing" he said but kept laughing. I rolled my eyes playfully at him and he chuckled.

Few minutes and we reached a stop. It didn't look really .. How do I say this ... what's the word ? Oh! Romantic.
It did not look romantic. That's the word. It was dark and we parked in a one way dark alley. If it would had been someone else they would have thought they were being kidnapped. I stepped out of the car as my heel hit the hard, cold and wet ground. Daniel locked the car and walked towards me as he held my hand gently and helping me out of the car. He chuckled a little as he saw my scared face.
"Don't worry." He said as he chuckled.
"Not at all" I said giving him a hesitant smile. He chuckled at how I reacted.
"You're a very bad liar." He said. He then started walking towards a door that might I add was very dirty and it basically looked like a door to a haunted house. He looked back to me and smiled again.
"Come on. I promis there is no monster behind it." He said and i hesitantly smiled. I walked to him carefully as he opened the door. We walked in and everything was pitch black. I felt claustrophobic for a minute but then the lights switched on and it looked like it was a stage. Like a theatre, a very old theatre.
"This is beautiful" I said with wide eyes as I saw the bright lights light up the stage and how there was red seats for the crowd.
"You always loved acting" he said as he walked to the centre of the the stage and watched me. "So I thought why not see what you got" he said. I walked to the middle of the stage and smiled. He walked to the back and took out two scripts. He handed me one and I read the title.
"Life of two lost lovers"
"Did you write this?" I asked.
"Well.. I got a little help" he said as I let out a chuckled. We both opened the first page and read the script.

Daniel: I have never seen someone as beautiful as you. (Says with British accent as he touches her face)

Jade: I've never felt so loved.

Daniel: so special

Jade: so happy

Daniel: I wish you can make me as happy.

Jade: I'm sorry i can't (walks away)

Daniel: will you marry me?

I checked the script to see what I had to say but I didn't find anything. I turned around my eyes still on the script.
"I think you forgot to write what my character answers." I say. I don't here a response and I look up. I see him standing right in front of me his face inches away as he held a little black velvet box with a diamond ring inside. My eyes widened at the scene and i couldn't help but let out a few tears.
"Maybe you can make me the happiest man in this universe." He said.
He took out the ring and placed it gently in my ring finger. I couldn't help but jump and hug him. He held me high and twirled me around in his arms. I let out a loud scream of excitement a little but then I was suddenly back on the ground.
"Come on" he said pulling my wrist. We went out of the movie theatre and we made our way to his car. He opened the cars passenger door for me to climb in and he carefully and very gently closed the door as he got into the drivers seat. He started the engine and turned up the music. He started to drive.

Nico's POV:
Ever since the incident I've never seen Jade. Not even a glance. All I was getting the first few weeks were nightmares of the incident. I still blame myself. It's been years now and I don't even know if she's dead or alive more importantly did she ever remember me? Is she happy? Did I ruin her life? I have moved on from Jade.. Well tried. I have to admit that she's constantly on my mind and that beautiful smile will never leave my thoughts. She probably moved on even though she has no clue who I am anymore. I decided to start a new chapter in my life and forget everything about the past and start focusing on the future. I can't keep running after her. For all I know she must have found someone new. But so did I. Skyler. I call her sky for short. She has long and straight blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. She is very hyper may I add but she's real sweet. I really fell for her. I hope Jade is happy though, where ever she is.
