The couple laid in a futon bed of the fair twilight, entering through room from the window. The moon's radiance hit his shirtless skin with his arms wrapped around her physique.
Indra couldn't sleep for thinking on what the attackers said, never thought those words would get to him. He heard Aya whimper realizing he was squeezing her tightly and then kissed her shoulder. She stirs in her sleep, placing her hand on his forearm that is wrapped around her stomach.

Indra is more worried than ever, knowing this world is cruel. She hummed feeling her hair being played with. He kissed her one more time; she responds by turning her head and opening her eyes a little.

"You're awake?" She said softly. He stood quiet.
"Is there something bugging you?"

No response.

Aya changed her position to face him, seeing him in deep thought. She strokes his cheek and he closes his eyes. He gets her hand and grips on it feeling the energy coming from her palm to his cheek. His eyebrows were narrowed making Aya worry about whats on his mind. Indra kisses the back of her hand after slipping their fingers to intertwine.

"What's wrong?" She spoke tenderly, "why can't you sleep?"

"The two men.."

Aya blinks when he spoke.
"They said they live on their own with their ideals and beliefs because the world around them is cruel...They refuse and do not wish to follow the father's concept of people connecting through each other with chakra and their hearts. Apparently, Ninshu is making everyone feel inferior..."

She listened watching how troubled he is not coming to find a conclusion. Indra has been learning sooner than he should be, seeing and hearing about people's pain.

"They consider it brainwashing. They don't understand what is the concept of what is right, the truth and the reality of this world... neither do I. "

"Truth and reality are both vague concepts." She spoke up and Indra glanced at her. "People live off their assumptions because they believe it's the right thing to do like what your father did. He wanted to connect with others. "

Aya tore her gaze away as Indra watches her: "I don't think it's a bad thing though..inheriting your father's will and passing it down in generations. It can be something good for the world. If other people don't see it that way, you can't force them. It's something they have chosen for themselves because they have their own goals independently; hence, they cant handle everything on their own... I believe someday they will come to their senses as humans, we have struggled to live in this world differently and perspectively - no matter what condition...no matter who we are. There can be hope.." She peers back at him with a small smile and tightening his hand.

"The two men must've had it hard, hard life from the start...to be able to kidnap women and children. I don't think it was easy for them until they realized, it was all because they wanted to live for their own sake...yet it is wrong for them to be doing it to others. Its a paradox."

Indra is completely amazed at her way of words, finding it so comforting.

"You do what is right and have the people around you support you. And you know what is the most beautiful thing of all? You have a family. You have your father and your little brother."

He tightens his hand on her, "and I have you."
Aya widens her eyes then blushes.
"Thank you, Ayana." He smiled before reaching towards her for a kiss to hide his vulnerability. Indra gets on top of her using his elbow for support. Their hands disconnect for a moment before finding a way to be together again. They broke apart with their foreheads touching each other. He gets back down, bringing her body back to him and she lets herself. She touched his scar and kisses on it, worrying if he gets more wounded.
