"RUN! THERE IS FIRE! THEY ARE SETTING OUR HOUSES ON FIRE!"

"KAI HAS INVADED!"

"KAI INSURGENTS ARE SETTING OUR HOUSES ON FIRE! THEY ARE KILLING CIVILIANS"

"LEAVE YOUR HOMES!"

"ESCAPE! RUN!"

"What-what was that?" Hayato stammers, "Kai soldiers are here?!"

Hazel kaleidoscope eyes widen in horror as the small family looks at the shoji door of her own bedroom as she heard terrifying screams of her neighbors; this cannot be happening. Her beautiful chest heaves in laboring breaths that are developing into a panic. Their minds are still processing before they were able to move.

Finally, they rush outside of their home.

The princess follows right behind her father at a speedy pace. He is going across the snow, and she glimpses at the families running on the pathway she heads to work and just came from. Aya fleets to the fire scorching apocalypse they're running away from.

Flashbacks flood to her conscience of the fight she had with Kronos, and the day she had lost someone precious to her.

The brunette beauty sees low-class mothers carrying their children in their arms or holding their small hands as they were crying, while fathers fought against the insurgents to defend everybody. Compassion is all she has for them, especially for the small youth.

In the corner of her eye's cornea, she spotted a body below the rice paddies. She covers her mouth, next, with her small hands to see blood splattered across the snow and seeing an actual person.

Water irises recognized who it was and her small center black pupils dilate.

"It can't be..." she mumbled at first with a crack within her voice; she finds it again to shout-out: "Papa, look there!!"

Hayato glances at his daughter who touched his shoulder. Mild widen honey brown eyes follow where she's pointing.
"That's...." her hands clutch on to her father's arm. She felt his quivering tall frame against her own small petite one. He is appalled, confused and frightened from what they are witnessing.

"Grandpa...Grandpa Ryota" Aya softly utters. "He's dead.."

"I can't believe this..." her father followed the same tone, shaking his head in disbelief. To him, this scenery brings back when he lost his father, his first lover, his friends and his dear sister. His ears reach a scream deep within the blazing flames, so he directed his attention towards it.

A boy who appears to be about 10 years old is trying to hold a heavy ax to protect his fallen father.

The village, the local area, they are living in continues to burn rapidly like wildfire. The insurgents with black hoods and masks are slaughtering people who come across their path on horseback. One of them has a sword sheathed taking small steps to kill a child. Hayato wasn't going to let them have their way.
"Papa? Papa?!" Aya saw her feeble father running at full speed escaping from her grasp to do a rescue, which she follows behind.
