Chapter 36

Jack's P.O.V:

My heart was racing as I ran the halls of the hotel.

Is it just me, or does it seem like I do this a lot...

I searched almost every floor and there was no sign of Anna.

The girls had gone back to the room; having lost hope of finding her and were going to try texting and calling.

I walked towards the elevator, and pressed the 'up' arrow to go back to my room.

The doors opened and there stood Anna with her bags all around her. I took her hand and brought her to the little sitting area while waiting for the elevator to take the both of us back to my room.

I sat next to her and put my arm around her.

I rubbed her back, and placed her head on my shoulder.

"This is all too much," I said to her.

She didn't make a sound; she was just letting me speak.

"Anna..."

She lifted her head but didn't look at me.

"I'm not gone."

Anna's P.O.V:

Hearing the words made me cry harder; but a faint smile appeared on my face.

He noticed, and before I knew it his hand was under my chin guiding me towards his lips.

Our lips connected and the sparks that I felt before lit up again.

I pulled away; looking guilty.

"Jack, there's something I should tell you..."

At that moment the elevator dinged and the doors opened.

I sprang up from my position, quickly wiping the tears away.

I looked back at Jack; my eyes begging for forgiveness.

I stood in a state of fear and shock as the strong hand made its way to Jack's.

"Hey... I'm Ricky."
