poetry is 50% inspiration and 50% pain

notice i did not mention skill

because you cannot put a skill level on emotion

you either feel deeply or you don't

you either express it or suppress it

some of us are poets by nature

others, without even realizing

but there is beauty in everything

and beauty is pain

and therefore we have so much to work with
