Chapter 69- Backstory

"We could discuss about our fake relationship," you say out of the blue and Jimin's eyes widen in the darkness.

"W-what?" he stutters, "what's there to talk about it?" he questions a nervous feeling rushing through him with no specific reason- that he is aware of.

"There are lots of things...," you begin with a quiet voice, "We are completely disorganised about this."

"What do you mean?" Jimin asks in a more serious tone trying to grasp what you mean.

"Well, we haven't made up a story for out 'relationship' what if someone asks us how did we start dating? I mean...ChaeRin questioned the other day how we met," you reply trying to give to Jimin an idea of what you're thinking.

"And I told her how we really met," Jimin responds.

"Yes, because there was a real story to tell. What if someone asks you how we started dating? There isn't really any real event to base it on because in reality you and I never dated," you explain speaking the honest truth and Jimin finally grasps what you've been trying to tell him.

"Ooh...so you mean that we should build a backstory?" he asks to make sure.

"Yes, a backstory that we'll say in the same way, to make our relationship more realistic to everyone's eyes," you say and fix the pillow under your head to he more comfortable.

"Hmm" he hums in thought, "We should also make it more realistic by posting on social media."

"Yes, but we should prevent people-like our parents- from seeing the posts to avoid misunderstandings," you tell him with a warning tone in your voice.

"My parents will understand...I guess my brother will tease us but he can be ignored," Jimin mutters, "We should make sure people from your side don't see anything though, you shouldn't get in trouble because you're just helping me,"

You hum in agreement and there is a comfortable silence between the two of you.

You finally begin feeling like you are going to fall asleep anytime soon however Jimin's voice breaks the slow rhythm you were falling asleep to,

"So...let's build our backstory," Jimin says and then he sighs placing his forearm above his forehead.

"We shouldn't make it too fake," you mumble keeping your eyes closed, "If we put to many fake details then at some point we'll get confused by our own lies and they'll figure it out."

"So...you're saying that we should base it off of how we really came close?" he asks.

"Well...that would be a nice way to avoid holes," you say and you await for him to throw and idea in order to finally start creating this backstory but since he doesn't seem make any attempts you decide to push him a little bit,

"So, do you have any idea on how we started dating?" you ask trying to make yourself not be drowned in awkwardness otherwise you know this conversation will lead nowhere.

Whereas Jimin, he already has become a ball of shy and awkward.

He does not feel extremely comfortable; What makes him feel like this is the fact that he doesn't know how to approach you on this subject.

Are you going to get annoyed if he becomes a bit cocky and a little bit of vain or are you just going to laugh it off receiving it as him being foolish?

Are you going to accept the fact that he wants to tell people that you chased him before you became a couple or will you disagree saying that you don't want to make yourself look like fool, as well as making fun of him for wanting to be the one who is chased this time, even if fake.
