The next morning Harry and I were able to be in the same room without one of us storming off, but it was silent and awkward.

I was looking at him in ways I hadn't before, and he was more hesitant to get close to me when we were walking to class.

It was just impossible for me to not think about him kissing me. I had only kissed three boys before (including Harry), but Harry's kiss by far was the most memorable. Maybe it was because I had never expected it, or maybe it was that it had felt amazing.

He put Travis and my 11th grade boyfriend to shame.

For lunch we went to the caf, and luckily managed to snag a booth in the corner.

We sat down across from each other, and I noticed Harry was barely eating anything.

"You okay?"

The words left my mouth before I could even stop them.

He looked up at me and snorted a laugh as he shook his head.

"No." He sat back and crossed his arms over his stomach.

"Is it about last night?"

"Wow, you're so smart. You figured it out on the first guess, Sherlock." He snapped.

I dropped my fork in defeat.

"Look, you're not the only one who's upset."

"I'm aware of that as well." He sighed before shaking his head. "Look, can we just forget that ever happened? We can pretend the other night and last night ever happened. I won't bring it up, I won't hold it against you, we can move on."

I sat back.

"Is that what you really want?"

He slowly nodded.

"That's what we need to happen."

"So you're not even going to tell me why?"

"I told you why. It was a mistake. A lapse in judgement."

"Right." I rolled my eyes. "So you just accidentally kissed me for no reason? You don't have feelings for me or just wanted to do it?"

He stared at me for a moment and I noticed his knuckles turn white as he clenched his fists.

"I do not have feelings for you and I never will. Take those childish thoughts out of your head. I am not into you."

I placed my napkin on the table and then cleared my throat.

"Right."

I grabbed my back pack and then slid out of the booth, walking away.

I could hear him rush to follow after me and I didn't even care if something happened to me I just wanted to get away from him.

"Emma! Emma!"

He grabbed my arm to stop me and I went to yank it out of his grip but his hold was too tight.
