When Samuel did speech at his birthday party, he did mention about things that she felt thankful. Yes, at the age 20 he got an award for Artist of the Year, as well as Song of The Year from Melon, Mama, Golden Disk, you name it. All decided to make him the best artist this year. He earned every piece of that, his effort and hard work were also painful as well. As he turns 20, the first thing he did is got a Korean driving license. Now I don't have to drive around since he will pick me up and drop me off. He also graduated from high school last February and decided to not to take off his time for college just like me. He got accepted to Konkuk University, Department of Digital and Cultural Contents. As expected he thinks about pursuing his dream to be a PD then. What amazes me is, when he turned 20, he invested his money to health and life insurance. He may be just a 20, but his mind is 40 already. He thinks about future a lot.

It gets me excited since I will celebrate my birthday not alone this year. Yes, I still hate my birthday, but since Samuel came, he could subside my hate towards birthday. He was right, it's the day that I should be thankful, not the day that I have to reflex that I am old already. I am so thankful to my life. How can I be not thankful then? I get a perfect life. I mention this over and over, remind my self that I am the luckiest girl in the world. As I hate surprises too, Samuel already told me first hand that we are going to Paju. I really love Paju. Paju is just an hour away from Seoul, but the area is perfectly zen for me. Perhaps it's because Paju is near North Korea, not so many people live there. That is also why Paju always be the shooting location. Because it's quite. I told Sam that I don't want to have a DMZ tour as I joke.

Samuel picks me at 9 pm in my apartment, we head towards Paju. The first stop is Paju Book City. We both love books. Samuel says that I must not have time to read a book. Yes, indeed. I miss where I can easily reading a book in Han river, back before being an idol. If you can peek to my room, I bought so many books, I can't help it but buying a new book but I haven't touch any of them, even though I always bring my book, I thought I could read it on set. Instead, I'll sleep if I have time. That's the reason Sam bring me here in the first that I could read.

I enter this library. I just saw this place in the pictures. I keep wowing as I enter. I am amazed at so many books there. So many. It could be millions. They have this giant shelf, 16 in the height as I count. So so big. I sit there with him. Even though people don't care about us because they busy reading and put their earphones on, we haven't taken off our mask and our cap. We still have to be careful. I read there for 2 hours. It's a long time, really I don't feel like time pass already. We had a tight schedule, Samuel said. Samuel then takes me to wander around this book city. So many artworks there. Thank God that I bright my camera with me, this could be my Instagram content for the next 2 months. I took a lot of pics. Me and him as well.

We then stop at Heyri Art Village. Paju is like a dead city. You can rarely see a car passing by. It is so quiet. We have lunch in Heyri Art Village. Heyri has a beautiful mood, I always wonder why this place is so quiet. Not so many people visit this place. I would love to live here for the rest of my life. Funny thing is, in front of Heyri Art Village is Paju English Village where now every tourist go there even the place is closed years ago. Yes, Paju English Village got so famous after being used as Produce 101's dormitory. But I like Heyri better. We eat at the music cafe. The music as expected, so great. We decided to lose a bit and taking our mask and cap. We want to have decent lunch. At the end, Samuel gives the staffs big tip, hoping that they wouldn't post something on SNS.

We then stroll around Heyri Art Village, holding hands. Enjoy the breath of a fresh air. Different airs from Seoul. Peaceful. We even fooling around on the big street since there's no car passing by. It's weird when Samuel then take me to a cemetery in front of Heyri Art Village, He said that we should pay respect to our soldiers that fought for our democracy. I laugh when he says this because he always talks about U.S, can't believe that he's doing this. This is so absurd.
