"I've hardly been outside my room in days. 'Cause I don't feel that I deserve the sunshine's rays."

I stare at the screen in horror, unable to draw my eyes away from the train wreck before me. I stare at the girl before me with a sense of slight detachment, feeling the strong surge of pity for the mess she is making of herself.

I start the news clip over again, The Daily Mail having their own take on the scene, heavily implying that drügs must be involved due to my behaviour. Something deep within me almost welcomed the release of the footage of me drunkenly writhing around on the bathroom floor, crying over the boy I'm still running from. Ever since our fateful meet, he has greedily consumed my every thought, and now I can focus on another, not bothered that it's a negative one.
