Ship: Logicality

Yup, I'm back brats. And it feels damn good. I was gonna come back earlier, but I had another chapter that I hated so much that I scrapped and had to come up with a new idea.

Based off why Logan doesn't smile even though we all know from his rare smiles that they are freaking adorable.

Starts out a bit dramatic, gets fluffy (I feel like you guys aren't gonna believe me though, LMAO).

Note is at the bottom!

Logan doesn't smile. Everyone had established that fact a while back. He was emotionless, a left-brain trait who relied solely on information and facts. He didn't show emotion.

But he used to.

So what happened?

"H-hey, Logan," Patton tugged on Logan's shirt to catch his attention, "Can we talk?"

Logan frowned in concern as he observed Patton. He didn't like the distraught expression on his boyfriend's face. He wanted to kiss away his frown, pull him closer, protect him from whatever hurt him, cuddle with him and whisper sweet nothings into his ear. But now wasn't the time. Patton needed something of him and he wasn't going to deny him of that. "Of course. What's wrong?"

"Not here. Privately please."

Nodding hesitantly, Logan took Patton's hand into his own, squeezing it reassuringly as he led him into his room. Patton seemed unresponsive though, which caused worry to seep into the logical trait as he mentally pulled up as many factors as possible that might have contributed to the current situation.

Upon arriving at his room, Logan pulled Patton towards his bed and let him make himself comfortable while he dragged his desk chair to face the front of his bed. After Logan seated himself in the leather seat, he nodded at Patton.

He watched as his boyfriend avoided his eyes, opting to look up and down as if the words he wanted to say were written on the ground or ceiling. He watched his mouth fly open and closed as he hesitated on his words. He watched him shake his head, trying to quell his nervousness.

As Patton struggled, Logan felt a drop of sweat form on his forehead. What could possibly put Patton, one of the most cheerful traits, in such a state?

Could it be? Was he going to-?

Logan didn't even want to finish that thought. He felt nauseous as his mind strayed to that insecure corner.

It was his first relationship and he wasn't the best with emotions. Had he done something wrong? Had he said something wrong? Had he been a bad boyfriend? Had Patton gotten bored of him? Had he done a bad job of being affectionate? Had he not been good enough?

"I'm sorry!" "I apologise!" They burst out simultaneously. Both looked positively baffled at each other's apology, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Why are you apologising, Logan?"

"You're quite clearly fumbling over your words, hesitating over what to say. Since you have decided to make this a private conversation between the two of us, I assume it is regarding our relationship. I can only imagine one piece of information that would cause so much distress."

It took a while to click, but Patton's face drained itself of colour as his expression became swamped with panic and horror. "No, no! Logan, I promise that's not it!"

"Are you certain?" Logan raised an eyebrow in disbelief, "I am not particularly experience in relationships nor emotions. I do not fit the bill of a good boyfriend."
