"Rebellious subjects, enemies to peace,
Profaners of this neighbor-stainèd steel!—
Will they not hear?—What, ho! You men, you beasts,
That quench the fire of your pernicious rage
With purple fountains issuing from your veins,
On pain of torture, from those bloody hands
Throw your mistempered weapons to the ground,
And hear the sentence of your movèd prince."

Or, I suppose, your movèd princess.

I'm sure that a majority of you will agree that I've been never the best with words. And I likely never will be.

Despite that, I've always been one to push through and write for my own sake. I'd enjoy improving my writing, slowly building up my confidence because I'd think 'hey, I might actually be doing an okay job at this'.

But, you see, I have so much more to learn.

And there's this one person that I look up to; ChickitaGurl.

And she's... well. She's amazing, to put it lightly. A goddess with words. A goddess of words.

Or, she may as well be.

Words flow effortlessly from her fingertips like the everconstant admirable waterfall. Sweet poetry drips from her lips like the golden honey that language takes the form of.

For many, her grace in the elegant dance that comes from writing leaves us breathless as she leaves masterful art in her wake.

She has claimed the title 'Angst Queen', and I don't think there's anything more fitting. The crown that has settled upon her head appears to be made for her, and her alone.

And it is today that we celebrate the beginning of booklet that would lead to the claim of that crown.

It's been a year, an entire 365 days since it's begun. And I wholeheartedly believe that it is appropriate to call attention to such an important date.

My Dearest Queen, likewise to you, I've prepared something for your one year.

I apologise in advance as it rather lacklustre; I'm severely lacking in the literature and the arts department.

I hope my humble gift is not too offensive to your esteemed presence:

I'm sure that I, along with numerous other people, find appreciation for the dedication and effort that you've put into that booklet

And as a fleeting remark;

I've always easily lost self-esteem when faced with works that are on levels that I could never even hope to reach.

My love, Jay, it's been an honour to lose my self-esteem to you 💜
