Ship: Thomas x ? (YUP IT'S A MYSTERY SHIP, OOH~~~)

Sorry for the kinda late update guys. I've been procrastinating on my English assignment for ages, so it's finally catching for to me, lol.

I haven't done a Thomas x (side) in a while. I'll give a clue: it's a ship I've never done before. So you can rule out Thoxiety.

Also, thanks to everyone for all the support you showed me from the last chapter. I really appreciate it.

One more thing. Once upon a time I gave terrible writing advice to one of my readers, and recently they've messaged me and told me they took my advice and tried it out.

And I just say, they're writing is amazing. Like, I don't even know why they asked for advice in the first place. Check out MariaTSep!

One more thing: this is a Human AU. I've been meaning to do one for a while, so I'm happy to finally be doing it.

Note is at the bottom!

He'd learnt to always keep his head down.

He'd learnt to always stay quiet.

He'd learnt to avoid people.

He'd learnt to try not be a burden.

He'd learnt how to deal with problems himself.

He'd learnt to accept that things wouldn't change.

After all, he wasn't normal. Thomas needed to grow up faster than most people his age. With his disability, he had no choice. He learnt quite quickly that people like him weren't exactly accepted in society.

So he had no choice but to face it all himself. Because as much as his parents tried, they'd never be able to understand.

And no one, no one at all, wanted to be friends with a freak.

"I'm sorry!" Thomas squeaked as he ran into someone.

"It is quite alright." They replied, their voice deep and impossibly smooth. Thomas could've sworn they'd been taken out of a fictional story of some sort, just their voice was entrancing.

But he snapped out of it, scrambling to pick up the item that had dropped when they ran into each other. "I'm sorry, I'll pick it up."

He felt around, managing to grasp the handle of a...briefcase(?) before a hand wrapped around his wrist, pulling him up.

"It is quite alright, I do not wish to trouble you." The voice paused for a second, "I apologise if this is a sensitive topic. But may I ask if you are...blind?"

Thomas froze. Every shred of common sense he had screamed for him not to trust them. In the past, he'd gotten a mix of reactions. Too many were disapproving. Too many were scoffs. Too many were condescending laughs. Too many were cruel shoves. Too many.
