Seth's POV

Yeah, Mary was definitely making me work for this. I had to use my connections to make what she had planned, happen but I knew this would make my son very happy. I made a few calls and made it happen by the next game. I was determined to do this by the next game. I also made sure that there was nothing planned for the day. Damien still wasn't talking to me and it honestly hurt but I knew I hurt him and this was his way of hurting me back and boy, was it working. I was a little desperate to make this right. It was Saturday and I pulled up to a hotel in the city. I sent a text and got a response. I then waited as I got a little antsy. I looked at my watch then out the window. After some time, I watched and finally saw him. My door opened and Tom got into the car. I quickly said, "Thank you for doing this. You have no idea how much this will mean to my son."

"Anytime, Seth. Luckily for you, I retired from football so I don't have anything going on." He smiled.

I chuckled. "Yeah, thank god for that."

I then drove off and he asked, almost surprised, "So, your son plays?"

"Oh, yeah, he is apparently really good." I told him. Then cracked, "Definitely didn't get it from me."

"What do you mean, apparently?" He asked.

"Well, I have been working so much, I haven't been able to see him play. This will be the first game I will make it to and we are going to be late. But having you with me, will make it all up. Well, I hope." I confessed.

"So, I am here cause you screwed up?" He cracked.

I chuckled and nodded. "You can say that."

I looked over briefly and he smiled. Then I looked back out the windshield as he said, "I'm glad I can make it right for you."

"Well, I appreciate you doing this for me. You really have no idea. I was afraid you would say no when I called." I admitted. Then I informed him, "This was actually my wife's idea, you know. I honestly had no clue my son was a Patriot's fan or a fan of yours." Then I thought about it and breathed, "God, I know nothing of my son. Maybe my wife was right."

"How so?" He asked.

I sighed and explained, "She said that I had no interest in my son's interest. Now I think she was right. Cause if I did I would have known he was a fan of yours or at least the team you use to play for."

He then cracked, "Don't let your wife hear that she was right."

I laughed. "Oh, I won't."

After some time, we pulled up to the field. We got out and walked to the field. We got to the stands and I found Mary with the other two kids. Sophia was on the sidelines, cheering. It was still the beginning of the first quarter so we didn't miss much, thank god. We got on the stands and sat next to Mary. Instantly people were looking at Tom and I as we sat, whispering as they pointed in awe. I smiled and leaned to Tom as I said to him, "Looks like you got some other fans here."

Tom looked around and slightly chuckled. "Yeah, seems so. Or could be fans of yours."

Then I said to him, "I want you to meet my wife." I leaned back a bit and said, "Tom, this is my wife, Mary. Mary, this is Tom Brady."

"You don't say." She said, sarcastically. Then she looked at him and stuck out her hand. "It's nice to meet you."

"Likewise." He said with a smile as he shook her hand.

"Thank you for coming out, this will mean so much to my son. He loves you. He was not happy when you retired." She told me.

"Well, I am glad I could get this one..." He pointed to me. "Out of the doghouse."
