(Avi's POV)
I think Nick must have slowed down a little when he saw the direction he was waving towards, so it didn't hit her too hard. However, he did hit her.
Mitch jumped in shock when it happened. And I was shocked too.
"What do you think you're doing?!!" Nick shouted at Ashley angrily.
She didn't response, her face was still facing down to the right.
"Fu*k!! Women!!" He hissed and turned around to leave.
"That's it." I muttered.
Anger took over me, I pushed Ashley out of the way.
No one speak to her like that!!! Even I am nicer than he is to her.
I took a step forward and grabbed his wrist, roughly spun him around.
He cursed under his breath, and held up his arm, ready to punch me.
"No fighting in mama's house!!" Mitch said, and went behind Nick, pulling his arms to his back.
Great!! Now he's unable to move!! I can hit him hard and easy.
I was ready to held up my fist. Suddenly, Ashley went in front of me.
"Cactus!" She yelled as she held my hands.
SHE-SHE HELD MY HANDS!!
"Stop....." She mumbled.
I calmed down immediately as I noticed, this is the first time she ever seemed...weak....and fragile.
Nick was still struggling from Mitch's grip, but it's like we're in different worlds.
They were shouting, but I couldn't hear anything, yet I could hear my own heartbeat.
What's happening......?
I started to feel nervous when I felt the coldness of her hands.
I am holding her hands....
No. This is not me. This is not what I will or should feel about her normally. I need to snap back.
Mitch pushed him towards the door, and opened it eventually. He kicked Nick's butt out.
"Just to be clear, this is over!! Don't ever come crawling back. " Nick yelled to Ashley before Mitch shut the door completely.
That set me off!!!!
I shook off Ashley's hands.
"You won't need to worry about that!!!" I yelled and was about to went for the door and chase after him.
"Avi, Avi." Mitch held up an arm to stop me.
I looked at him for a second then turned to Ashley.
"You are so stupid." I scolded her. Cold and harsh.
She stood there, tears seemed to form in her eyes.
Then I just went to my room.
