Chapter 51 The double date part 2

(Avi's POV)

After Jenna comes back, Jeremy became quiet again.

"Excuse me, I need to use the rest room."  Ashley stood up.

"Be back soon."  I said.

Ashley smiled at me and leaned down to give me a kiss.

And I turned my head to watch her leave.

I happy sighed.

"So, Avi."  Jenna called.

I looked at her, and she gave me a huge smirk.

"Did you do it?  Did you tell her you love her?"  She asked.

"I was planning to..but.."  I fiddled with my fingers.

"So you haven't."  Jenna said.

"Yeah, I'm still finding the right time, and the right words to say.  I am so nervous you know.."  I mumbled.

"How about you use me as a practice?"  Jenna asked.

I looked at Jeremy.  Is that a good idea...?

He's looking at his food...I guess it's okay...

"Okay."  I shrugged.

"Be sure to lean in after your speech, that way she'll say it back for sure once you kissed."  She said.

She put her hand on mine suddenly.

"Just to be more real."  She shrugged.

Her hand felt so much different from Ash's, but okay...

"Ashley, there's something I need to tell you."  I started.

Jenna looked at me and nodded.

"This might be too soon, but this is how I feel."  I said.

(Ashley's POV)

I was about to walk back to my sit.

"I love you, so much."  Avi said to...Jenna?

What is happening?

"Everytime I hold your hand, I felt this shock.  And I know that we're meant to be."  Avi said.

They we're holding hands, and Avi looked at her with...love.

So they're doing this behind my back?

Is that why Jenna went with Avi to buy bandages yesterday?  And why she had his jacket?

And Jeremy...  

That's why they didn't even look like a couple...

All the thoughts came to my mind.

And I started crying.

I thought Avi was didn't from all the bad guys I've dated before.  And I even love him....

I looked at them.

Avi started to lean in...so this must be true..

Jenna leaned in as well.

(Avi's POV)

I leaned in as Jenna told me, but I stopped half way.

I think I did good.

I looked at her for her comment.

But she's leaning in as well.

Before I had time to react, she kissed me.

"I thought you are my friend, Jenna..."  A voice came behind me.

I quickley pushed Jenna out of my face, and turned around.

"And Avi, I love you.  But I guess I'm not the one you love."  She chuckled bitterly, painfully.

"No, Ashley, this is not you think-"  I tried to explain.

"I wish you guys can be happy together."  She said with tears running down her face.

And she turned around to leave.

"I'll go get her."  Jenna said as she stood up.

I stood up as well.

"Jeremy, grab him."  Jenna ordered.

Jeremy took both of my arms and put them behind me.

"Let go!!"  I yelled.

Jenna walked by me.

"You got kissable lips."  She said before she left.

She winked at me, and gave me an evil smirk.
