THE BOX

THE FEELING OF A JOLT WAS THE FIRST THING SHE HAD FELT WHEN SHE WOKE UP IN THE BOX. The girl was sprawled out on the floor with her head laying down on the cold metal.

Her hair seemed to be damp like she was in water before this. She didn't understand how she got there or where she was. She didn't remember who put her in there or where she was before this. Her body shook with the cage as it kept on elevating upwards, and it didn't stop. She gasped as she sat up, and whirled her body around suddenly feeling like she could throw up.

Though it wasn't puke that came out of her mouth, but water. Water sprayed to the ground beneath her like she was drowning in it before she got to where she was now. When she couldn't throw up anymore the girl took a long look around her. Twisting her body all the way around she could see nothing but darkness.

Darkness swallowed her whole like it was a never ending tunnel, not being able to find the light at the end. The feeling of not knowing where she was going scared her to death. She could only stand up and pound on the metal walls that felt like a giant cage, a moving giant cage.

"Hey, help me!" She screamed at the top of her lungs hoping someone can hear her voice.

"Stop! Somebody stop this thing!"

She pounded on the metal walls until her hands were sore and blood stained them from hitting so hard. She could feel the tears brimming her eyes. The only thing she could do was wait. There was nothing beyond this metal Box that could help her escape this tragedy.

Tears fell from her eyes as she slid down, her back touching the cold wall. She brought her knees up to her chest, and wrapped her arms around them. She tried to think of something-anything- but nothing came up. It was blank.

It seemed like her brain didn't want her to remember her life before this one. That's exactly what it seemed like. No one wanted her to remember. She just didn't understand why they would do this to her. She didn't even know her own name.

Closing her eyes she kept them squeezed shut and tried to remember. Suddenly, flashes barged through her mind entering her skull. A shooting pain hit the centre of her head causing her to cry out in pain. Though she still let the memories flood her brain. "These are extremely wonderful. Good job, Scar," a blonde women said, smiling down at the young girl.

"Thank you. I hope you like them. It took me a while to figure out what kind of things I wanted to add in there, but I think I finally figured it out." "You did. You figured it out. I'm so proud of you." The women said, a smile on her face.
