" I don't know. She could die." Carl. I feel very loved by the kid now.

" Don't say that. You know Carter isn't one to give up easily."

" But there's still a chance she can die." My fingers twitch at him talking like that, yet I can't move anything else, still motionless.

 " Hey, Carter. I hope you wake up soon. We really need you. Rick's gone haywire and we need your help to bring this group together. You're the toughest one out of all of us, we need you." Glenn, sorry, but I still don't wake up. Even if I could, I don't want to.

 " Carter, you don't have to fight it. You've been in so much pain, if you wanna go, you can go. We'll miss you but we'll be okay. I promise." Maggie, I wanna leave too, but I wanna stay. I need Daryl with me.

I need him.

 I need to hear that contagious laugh,

 to see that handsome smile of yours,

 see you be a dumb yet adorable fuck,

 and to make sure you don't do something stupid, again.

 And the day we met. God I hated you back then. I know you hated me too.

 But, soon, we both got closer together. We saved each other's asses more than once. We got close, closer than I would've expected, but I loved it.

 You still had faith in me when no one else did. More faith than my mom, my dad, everyone. Thank you for that.

 And you've become a real fuckin' gentleman. More emphasis on the word gentle. I'd laugh if I could right now, but I can't. I need to wake up. But I don't know if I should.
