 Carter's P.O.V

" What happened to your hands?" Daryl questions, squeezing the wrapped up hand. The light peeks through the barred windows, allowing him to see the blood covered hands. " Was that Tyreese? I swear if he did that I'm gonna shoot and arrow up his a-"

" Calm down it wasn't Ty," I chuckle. " It had a little situation with Bob on the run. He's getting his karma soon."

" Good. 'Cause if you don't do anything, I will." I roll my eyes, leaning down to give him a soft kiss from where I'm sitting. Someone clearing their throat interrupts us. Moving my head up, I look to see Rick standing in front of out cell.

" Can I talk to you for a minute, Daryl?" Rick questions, glancing over at me. I nod my head slightly.

" I'm gonna check on Glenn in A. I'll be back." I kiss his forehead before standing up. I give a small wave to Rick before walking off to find Glenn.

Soon making my way through the corridors I sit beside a tired Glenn, his breathing a normal pace. I grasp his hand in mine, having a soft grip.

" Hey Carter," he greets, opening his eyes.

 " How'd you know it's me?"

" Maggie told me you got hurt," he explains, squeezing my hand softly.

" Ya'll tell each other everything, don't you?"

" And you don't?" he questions back. I shrug, opening my mouth to answer, only to hear an explosion.

" I'll be right back!" I kiss his forehead, placing a knife on his bed before sprinting off.

Opening the door to the yard I see everyone else out there already. I slowly my pace, stopping beside Daryl as I hold my crossbow in one hand. Looking outside, I see cars and a tank lined up behind the fence.

" Rick!" a voice yells. A voice from a man I wish died a long time ago. " Come down here. We need to talk."

" It's not up to me!" Rick yells in response. " There's a council now. They run this place."

" Is Hershel on the council?" The Governor questions. " What about Michonne?" One of his men go to one of the cars, pulling two people out. My breathing hitches, seeing the two tied up and placed on their knees.

" Michonne," I mumble, trying to fight tears forming.

 " I don't make decisions anymore."

" You're making the decisions today, Rick. Come down here," He says once more. " Let's have that talk." Rick lets out a heavy breath, glancing over at me and Daryl. We both nod our head, knowing there is no other way out. He follows the Governors' orders.

" We can't take 'em all," Daryl states.

" We can go through the admin building, through the woods like we planned," I suggest, looking up at him. " We don't have the numbers anymore."

" When was the last time someone checked the stash on the bus?"

" Day before we hit the Big Spot," I respond, keeping a close eyes on Rick. " We're running low on rations then. Still are now."

" We'll manage. Things go south, everyone heads for that bus. Let everybody know."

" What if everybody doesn't know when things go bad?" Tyreese questions. " How long do we wait?" he asks.

" As long as we can," Daryl grunts, walking off. I avert my eyes away from the redneck, looking back at Rick trying to talk to the Governor. I can only hear muffled parts their conversation, Daryl handing out guns to all of us. I grip mine tightly, hoping for the best for both sides.

I see the man grab Michonne's katana, aiming it Hershel. I aim my rifle through the fence, feeling anger run through me. I take a deep breath, calming myself down until it breaks. Hershel, Hershel....

" NO!" Rick shoots, hitting the Governor before gunfire is the only thing heard. I stay in shock for a minute or so, Maggie sobs of despair making me look up, shooting almost blindly at them. The tank moves forward, destroying the fence with ease. I pull Beth away from the fence, getting her somewhere safer to shoot.

I move beside Ty and Sasha, tears in my eyes as I shoot the best to my ability. The tank moves forward, destroying anything in it's path. Sasha and Bob move to safety, Ty and I continuing to shoot. I reload a magazine, continuing to shoot once more, handing Tyreese one just in case.

The tank makes it through the final fence, my face becoming pale once it does so. I move quickly, telling Tyreese to do so before we find a better place to shoot, hiding behind a water barrel. I glance to my side, seeing Maggie and Glenn escaping to the bus.

Once the bus goes, Tyreese hides behind plants, leaving me on my own as two gunners aim at him. I get a but closer, shooting one as someone else takes out the other. I wipe the tears from my eyes, running inside the prison.

" Anyone else here!" I yell, looking through my cell. I grab my bag, placing Daryl's gear in it before grabbing my old bow.

Once I get outside, I only see walkers. Just walkers. Shock runs through me, seeing an empty baby carriage, blood covering it.

" No, no, no," I sob. " Daryl!" I yell, getting no response. " Daryl!" Nothing. I slowly get up, running quickly, hoping to find someone.
