Chapter 24

The morning dawned as Sans and I were ready to head for Horrortale, Fell was the only one we were waiting for. I paced around nervously, wondering how Fell was going to get away from his controlling brother. Seeing how Papyrus treated him I was sure Fell would escape with some scratches and bruises, if skeletons could bruise. As I was loosing my train of thought I was snapped back to reality by a loud slamming sound, accompanied by faint shouting. Fell barged into the lab,a small rucksack of his back.

" Get in the freaking machine, now! " Sensing the panic in Fell's voice, Sans and I ran into the machine with Fell and began to start up the machine. The lab door opened once again, a furious Papyrus on the other side. I began to panic, sweat appearing on my brow, my heart thumping loudly in my ears.

" Sans...." The short skeleton was quickly typing in some sort of code. Papyrus was almost at the machine, his furious look now more clear.

" Sans! " There was a blinding flash and we soon stood amongst the code once more. Papyrus' screams echoing around us from Underfell. I sighed, relived to be out of the twisted AU. My calm thoughts were ceased though when I remembered we were next going to a place that had horror in its name. My nerves flared up once more.

" What's wrong kid? Scared?" I nodded slowly, afraid to admit my own weaknesses to the two stronger skeletons. Fell roughly patted my shoulder as we walked through the mass of numbers and letters.

" Ya have some guts doll. After all, ya survived my place hehe. So cheer up will ya?! " I smiled slightly at Fell's enthusiasm and removed his hand from my shoulder slowly.

" Well, here we go again " We entered another flash of light and we found ourselves in yet another forest clearing. This time the trees were bare and the snow had a red tint to it, almost like blood. The smell of rotting meat filled the air, making me shiver and sick. I covered my mouth to try and avoid the smell. Fell chuckled and crossed his arms.

" Sucks to be human huh? We cant smell, got no noses hehe! " I scowled at the red eyed skeleton, not amused at the joke as the three of us began to walk through the forest. The place was empty, nobody around. That was until we reached a sentry station.

" Look, there's someone there, lets go ask them for help " I began to walk to the station but was stopped and held back.

" Stop Kyra " Sans began to warn me.

" The monsters here have lost all sanity" I loosened the grip on Sans hold of my arm. Not fully understanding the situation.

" If they are a Sans then they cant be all that badI" I began to walk to the station, the skeletons following behind. The person at the station was indeed a Sans. He was asleep. His head was cracked and he had an axe in his hand.

" Hello?" I began to stutter, for a few moments not receiving an answer. I shrugged and began to walk past the sentry station when I was grabbed and pulled to the wood of the front of said station.

" A human?! Wonderful! One head dog comin' up! " Seeing the silhouette of the axe raise above my head made me think that this was the end. It all ended here.
