We all stood in front of an open portal since the machine was no longer in sight. We decided that using a portal was for the best, neither of us wanting Fresh to come back anytime soon. The thought of seeing such a 90s abomination again made me cringe, not wanting to deal with his level of sass or the fact he was a walking meme factory. From the distance we all begin to hear rapid footsteps, taking it as our cue to leave. Stepping foot into a portal was just the same as using the machine Gaster had designed. The only difference was the creator. Sans had to generate a portal using his magic, in turn making him weak and more tired then he was normally. The portal closed slowly behind us, blocking out the distant bright colors that had just come into view.

" Dudes that's not like..cool! " I sighed with relief, having missed Fresh. I didn't care if it was only a few seconds, I was glad all the same. From the corner of my eye I watched as Toriel inspected the code around us, gently touching the floating numbers and letters. Seeing her so calm and content brought a smile to my face and deep down inside I knew she was going to be useful to our cause. Sans however, wasn't doing so well. Opening the portal had taken a lot out of the short skeleton, to the point were he was gasping for breath and trying to open the portal. He wasn't progressing. I slowly made my way over to him, feeling the watchful eyes of others on me. I knew that what I was trying to do was unsafe, one wrong move could destroy us all. It was either risk our lives escaping or live and potentially die here. I wasn't game for that so trying was all I could do. I blocked Sans' path, not wanting him to become involved.

" What are you doin' doll?! " I didn't respond to Fell, I needed to focus or something bad could happen. I felt the presence of the hands behind me, looming like they always did. Their presence over time had become comforting, like the feeling of old friends. From behind me I saw multiple spots of light, all colored differently. At this point I decided to close my eyes, knowing that if something went wrong that I wouldn't see it this way. The ground began to shake, my friends began to shout. I didn't listen to their pleas for me to stop, I continued on.

" Kid stop! " Within a few seconds of my eyes being closed the hands emitted blasts from each of them, causing the light to the next AU to open up. Opening my eyes, I fell to my feet. My head was throbbing. Hearing a faint crack caused me to put my hand to my head, feeling blood ooze out from whatever wound was there. I hear rapid footsteps as Fell makes his way over to me, concern being the only emotion he had.

" D...doll. Your head, its cracked like Gaster's "
