I began to shake slightly at the mention of Error's name, having not told Sans about my encounter with him yet. My throat dried up and I struggled to speak. The more Sans said the more I panicked.

" In the nightmare Error was fighting me and he wrapped his cables around me. Kid, he killed me " I gently patted the skeleton's back, trying to hide my own fear. It seemed that my attempts were futile, as Sans looked to me. There was worry in his sockets rather then his own fear.

" Ya ok kid?" I shook my head, deciding it was time to tell Sans what I had been hiding all this time. I took a deep breath, calming my nerves ever so slightly.

" I have met Error " Sans pulled himself away from me, shock and disbelief coming over him. Sans began to stutter till he eventually managed to speak once more.

" You have? When?" I began to shy away, ashamed of keeping secrets from my closet friend. Tears pricked my eyes till they eventually began to roll down my face and onto the blue sheets below the two of us. I averted my gaze away from Sans, knowing he must have felt betrayed.

" Horrortale. He had my sphere but he dropped it. He left shortly after " I heard the sound of slippers making their way across the floor, untill the sound suddenly stopped. I feel two thin and boney arms warp around me in a tight hug. The only sound in the room now was that of my tears hitting the bone of Sans' hands.

" Don't worry kid. It's scary meeting him. He is a destroyer of worlds " I nodded, not really paying much attention to what Sans was saying, more occupied by the fear that weighed heavy on my heart. I turned to face Sans, wiping my tears away with my sleeve, Sans' soft, permanent smile warming my heart and soul and melting away all my worries.

" Your not mad?" Sans shook his head.

" Nah kid. I kept things from you didn't I ? " I smiled wider, knowing this to be very true. Sans wasn't one to hold a grudge and it seemed his heart was that of gold. I began to walk to the bedroom door, thinking Sans might still be tired. I sighed and opened the door before turning back, worry spreading across my features.

" Don't worry kid. I will be fine" I nodded and entered the hallway quietly, not wanting to make noise at this late hour. I could only hope that Sans was better in the days that followed.
