I had forgotten how cold the environment in Snowdin was, never really paying it much thought on my travels. Night had fallen, making the air even colder. I wasn't standing outside for the fun of it though. I did have a reason. Ink had said that he worked better in solitude and he wanted to recreate the brothers at his best, asking us kindly and sweetly we all left him to do his job. Papyrus offered to show Fell, Undyne and Toriel around our timeline, seemingly wanting to be away from his older brother for a while. At first this behavior seemed off from the taller skeleton, not his upbeat and cheerful self. He seemed upset with Sans, a look of fear and disappointment on his bony features ever since our return. I figured it best not to get myself involved right at that moment, wanting to give the brothers some space. Sans had decided to go to Grillby's despite the late hour, which left me standing outside in the cold with nowhere to go. I could feel the cold under my skin, numbing my body ever slowly.

Every second I stood dormant the less of me I could feel. Maybe it would be best to join Sans. He had only left a few moments prior and I'm sure I could catch him if I was quick. I began to run after the short skeleton, my body instantly heating up from the movements. My breath was quick, almost like it didn't exist. A flash of blue quickly came into view from inside the snowstorm, my breath halting from the wind, making me unable to call out to Sans. After what seemed like an eternity I saw the sign of Grillby's bar in front of me, reaching out for the door handle slowly. I quickly retracted my hand upon hearing faint mummers from inside. Looking in the window revealed the bar to be empty, only the skeleton and the fire monster among the bar's wooden walls. I reached my hand in front of me to touch the wooden walls of the bar, my hand phasing right through it. A flash of pink shone from behind me and gently pushed me through the wall and into the bar. The two monsters didn't seem to notice my presence, despite them looking right at me. My powers had made me invisible to others, allowing me to listen in on the conversation. Sans sighed and sat at the bar, tapping his fingers on the worktop.

" Grillby, get me some ketchup will ya "

" Sans, it's late. The bar is closed "

" Do it this one Grillbz, for old times sake "
