Morning broke quickly, waking up to the smell of polish and chemicals. I looked over my shoulder to see Undyne polishing the blade of her chainsaw, the sight unsettling and knotting up my stomach. I couldn't shake the fear I felt at the sight and my voice let out a small whimper from the feeling.

" Morning, you seem pale human " I shook my head and stood to my feet, for the first time noticing that the sofa was empty and the others were nowhere in sight. I shot Undyne a confused look, hoping that she knew were the others had gotten to. Undyne's glasses gleamed in the harsh lighting as she pushed them up her face, smirking widely and displaying her rows of sharp teeth. Even in my time the fish woman unsettled me but here she down right caused my being to be filled with an unshakable fear that shook even my soul to its core.

" They went and got the machine early morning. They are in the back room setting it up for us to leave " I nodded and turned to look behind me as I heard the door behind me open with a loud creak. Fell, Sans and Toriel made their way from the back room, seeming somewhat tired but relieved at their actions.

" All done doll. We can leave now. Hope ya ready " Undyne swiftly made her way past me, chainsaw in hand. She seemed to fit in among the others. She was a monster after all, I was human but I still felt like I belonged. I made my way over to the others and into the room behind them, summoning the hands as I did. With a bright flash from the hands I heard the machine fire up, it now full of life and ready to take us all home. Me and Sans anyway.

" I have never been more ready " I smiled and watched as the others gathered into the steel, silver cylinder. Fell and Sans smiled at me as they passed, their smiles not the permanent one that I had become accustomed to. These smiles were genuine and hopeful. It had been a long road but we were now ready to return. I steeped into the machine myself and pushed a nearby button, entering us into the code and in the distance I could see the light that lead home. I couldn't wait. The others were waiting for us.
