" 🏱︎♋︎◻︎⍓︎❒︎◆︎⬧︎📪︎ ♑︎♏︎⧫︎ ♋︎⬥︎♋︎⍓︎✏︎ " I struggled and cried out with as much strength as I had left, not much remained but I wasn't going to waste it on crying about my misfortune. Papyrus edged ever closer, unable to understand me. I couldn't let the tall skeleton get mixed up in this, Sans would never forgive me if his younger brother was hurt. The hands were unable to free me but they could keep others away. I watched with regret as the hands pushed Papyrus away, a hurt look in the skeletons eye sockets.
" Why human, why do you push me away? I want to help you " I quickly shook my head, pushing the skeleton away once more. I didn't want him hurt and if it meant distancing myself then so be it. I look at my pocket, sensing an energy surging from something close to me. Something glowed blue inside my pocket, eventually lifting out and revealing itself to me.
" Heh, the bone I gave you! Must only work when I'm near huh? " I had forgotten about the protective bone Papyrus had given me before my departure. It floated into Papyrus' hands, settling gently. The taller skeleton held it close and took a deep breath, determination filling his eyes. It was something I had never seen from the young skelebro and the sight shocked me, he was braver then I gave him credit for.
" I'm going to help you anyway human, my puzzles won't help here though so let's see how your little friends like blue mode. They are boned! Nyehehehehehe! " I watched in shock as a ring of blue bones surrounded us, illuminating the darkness of Waterfall. I could feel the power that surrounded us. I never knew that Papyrus was so powerful, his innocence shining through even when he was fighting. I suddenly felt the vine unwrap from around my leg, the flower escaping once more. I rushed to Papyrus, hiding behind his tall stature for protection.
" Maybe your friend will change after this fight human, there is always time for a shift of weather! " I shook my head, signalling that changing this creature wasn't going to be so easy.
" ✡︎□︎◆︎ ♍︎♋︎■︎🕯︎⧫︎ ♍︎♒︎♋︎■︎♑︎♏︎ this human " My speech was beginning to return, finally. Papyrus stood confidently, hands reached out at his sides in an attempt to cover me. I smiled warmly at the gesture.
" Ok. don't say I didn't try to be nice human. Nyehehehehe! "
