Sans' heavy breathing soon calmed, eventually halting all together. I look at my hands in wonder, the green mist finally vanishing into the air around us. These powers were new to me, something I had never witnessed or experienced before. Did my distress tap into something, sensing that somebody needed my help? It's hard to say. Even now I am not too sure how it all happened. A strong feeling just overtook every other emotion, the need to protect. If you could not help and protect those closet to you then what could you do? Sans had protected me from the start, making me want to repay him somehow. It would seem we were now even, a score settled. I watched as the small skeleton finally sat up, holding onto me tightly as he did so.
" Kid..what happened? " Words couldn't describe, partly because I didn't know what had happened. I came in after the attack, leaving me wondering what could have happened. There was nothing I could tell him. I pointed to the blood stain on his turtleneck, trying to give some sort of explanation. I was unable to speak, still shaken by my newly found powers. Sans looked down at the gash, his sockets narrowing at the sight in confusion. He patted himself, looking for any sort of wound that could have caused the stain. Nothing. We both finally stand, silence still overpowering my voice and making me mute.
" You saved me, thanks kid. Tibia honest I wasn't ready to die yet " We both smile warmly at each other, sensing the pun snuck into Sans' wording. It was nice to know that even death wouldn't rattle the skeleton, keeping as calm as always. The others now come forward, accompanied by Fell who came while my back was turned. I look at the scarlet skeleton and frowned, seeing the small cuts on his jacket and the drops of blood running down his bony fingers. He just smirked, waving his hand in dismissal. He seemed the same as always.
" Rainbow is nothin' but dust now " I nodded, knowing that I shouldn't have been happy about the Fresh's demise but something inside my soul felt relief. One less problem to worry about. Sans sighed, looking at each party member individually, his gaze finally fixing on me and flaring my nerves.
" If he was here then that would also explain my encounter " We all looked at each other, awaiting the reveal of the name of another foe, silence settling for a few moments before being broken.
" Chara was here. Error has arrived "
