Liam's POV
6 pm
*beep*
I received a text from Nate and my heart fluttered.
Nate: hey where do you live?
Me: 1400 Wilbur Lane
"Liam. Are you alright?" Mum's head appeared at the door. "Yeah. Nate wanted to know where I lived." "Be sure to tell him that I wanna meet him." Mum left. "Okay!" I called behind her.
Nate: thanks :)
Me: oh btw my mum wants to meet you
Nate didn't answer as quick as he did last time and that frightened me. What if he doesn't want to meet my mom? Will he lose interest in me? What if Nate never speaks to me again?
*beep*
Nate: cool. can't wait :)
After I read the text, all my worries went away in a snap. "Yes!" I said to myself.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"Liam? What's so exciting?" Mum must be standing outside the door. "Come in, Mum." She did. "Nate doesn't mind meeting you!" Oh my God. I totally sounded like a girl when I said that. I thought to myself.
Mum laughed. "Liam, hun. You did not sound like a girl." "Wait I said that?!" Mum laughed even harder.
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"I'll get it!" Mum left. I gasped. Nate!
"Why hello!" Mum greeted. I quickly finished getting dressed. I decided on a white tank top with brown shorts. "Liam! Nate's here!" I walked out of my room. "Now is that really appropriate for a date, mister?" Mum nagged.
"Don't worry, Mrs. Payne. He'll be fine." Nate said. "Nate, I told you to call me Karen." Wow. Mum's letting him call her by her first name.
"Alright Liam. You ready?" Nate asked. "Yea." I replied.
A/N: hi guys! sorry for not updating earlier!
today my dad was off from work and he doesn't like sitting around the house all day. so we all went shopping and got things we needed (except for the Little Caesars, according to my parents) i beg to differ. we all gotta eat right?
i've actually been home for a while but i had to do chores plus i have a massive headache so once again i'm terribly sorry for not updating.
