-Your Pov-

" Penny, are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, you and I aren't technically allowed to leave Atlas, and we're going to get in a lot of trouble if we do. And, then you know how Ironwood gets when the two of us are out late. I'm not really in the mood to listen to another one of his long drawn out speeches about how the two of us are the most advanced machinery in all of Remnant, and can't afford to fall into enemy hands, and then the speech about how the two of us need to grow up and demonstrate behavior fitting of an Atlas Cadet," you tell your sister, Penny as she literally drags you to an Atlas airship she chartered. Your feet are anchored into the ground, however with your strength she manages to drag you still.

" Non-sense (y/n). It will be fine," she assures you cheerfully, and not for the first time. The two of you have been at this for around fifteen minutes as she has to explain to you again and again why this is a good idea, and then you have to explain to her again and again why this is a horrible idea. " Ironwood is encouraging all of us to go and visit Beacon in preparation for the Vytal Festival! In addition, our curfews and schedules have changed to allow us to make these visits. I've already seen the area, so I'll be thrilled to show you the scenery and everything Beacon has to offer. Oh, and you'll love the friends I made!" She says this, and then you nod at everything she says, although not buying a single word of it. You know deep down this is going to get you two in so much trouble eventually, and that the " friends" she made are probably people she spoke with and decided she liked.

Still, it was no use arguing with your sister when she got like this. She was just as strong as you, and so capable of dragging you anywhere if you didn't want to go, and she was easily more energetic, and there was only so much resisting you could do, or even felt like doing. Most of the time, whenever she suggested something it actually ended up being fun, if only to see how wrong it had ended up going. Still, going to Beacon wasn't something you wanted to, but seeing as how she had thrown you onto the airship, it didn't look like you were going to have much of a choice.

As the ship flew you over Beacon, you began to take in the scenery, as Penny tried to point out what was what from the air. You nodded every so often, but still, you couldn't help but be surprised that it was so different from Atlas. You knew that all the academies were different, and you had heard Ozpin and Ironwood arguing before, enough for you to know the two of them had vastly different philosophies, which probably extended to how they taught students. Still, you couldn't help but think...it looked like an actual school, as opposed to the pure white, and bleak halls of Atlas.

The ship landed, and then dragged you out of the ship, and began to frantically and eagerly point at everything all around her. Normally, you would make some snarky comment about how the scenery wasn't going to change or vanish, but you couldn't help but be just as impressed as she was. To your shock, Beacon actually had places you imagined a school would have near by. Libraries, stores for food and drinks, places where teenagers could just hang out and be themselves. Students walked by, and called each other nicknames and teased each other, as opposed to the rigid salutes and " Cadet" address that followed everyone at Atlas around.

" Isn't this place wonderful," asks Penny, and all you can do is nod as you take in the scenery all around you, and then she points to the school itself. " The students have lunch around now. Let me show you my friends!" She grabs onto your sleeve, and then drags you to the cafeteria, over your protests that you can walk fine on your own, and then opens the door proudly.

Your eyes widen when you see a veritable war zone that would bring a wistful tear to the eye of even the most hardened Atlas General. In the cafeteria, two teams of four were having a food fight, which words alone fail to do justice to. Other students are simply caught up in the chaos, watching with mixed reactions as they try and fail to peacefully eat their lunch. As the battle rages on, Penny takes the time to point out who her friends are, with the tone in her voice suggesting she's proud of them for being able to cause all this damage.
