Chapter 7: Go To War

-TIMESKIP- 

Allison POV 

"You try enlist again?" I asked Steve over lunch. Bucky had been given his orders and he was shipping out to England tomorrow. Me and Stiles had been here 2 years and whilst we eventually managed to find a spell to get us home we'd already settled down and we couldn't bare to leave Steve and Bucky. 

"Yep" He said and I sighed knowing that the disappointment in his tone said he didn't get in. 

"You just have to keep trying don't listen to anyone else" I told him and he smiled at me. We were in a little deli eating lunch over the road from the bakery I worked in. Stiles was suppose to be here with us too but apparently something came up regarding work. 

"How do you think Stiles is going to handle Bucky leaving?" Steve asked me and I knew the answer. She's be devastated and angry and would definitely slap him one last time before he left but she'd be proud of him no matter what. 

"She'll be angry but she knows he has to go, the effect he could have on this" I told him and he frowned but accepted what I said as me being me. "Anyway Bucky will probably want to go out tonight since he's leaving tomorrow, said he wanted to take Stiles to the  show with future technology or whatever" I Said and he nodded his head smiling at me. "Well I have to get back to work" I Said as I saw the time in the clock on the wall behind Steve's head. "But we will talk later and remember Steve Grant Rogers you will do great things someday" I told him like I did every time I Said goodbye before I kissed him and left the restaurant. 

I went back to the bakery put in an apron and started serving customers again when Stiles rushed into the bakery with all her ADHD glory. When we first got here she had a bottle of her meds she managed to spread out for awhile but they ran out and now sometimes she could barely think straight but she somehow managed to be the best on the force. 

"Ally!! Ally we need to talk now!!" She shouted and I asked Julie, one of the others at the bakery if she could cover for me whilst I talked to Stiles, before I headed to the back to talk to my twin. 

"Hey What is it? Did something bad happen at work?" I asked the frantic girl and she nodded holding out a piece of paper. "You got enlisted?" I asked in disbelief as she held out the letter. 

"Yeah I mean I didn't sign up or anything but my boss said he signed all of us up and since I work on the force they assumed I was a dude and now I'm going to war, god I'm gonna kick some German ass" she said and I just sighed. 

"Well what am I going to do I'll be here all alone" I Said and the excitement drained from her face. 

"I don't know" she said and I sighed in disappointment, seems like I'm losing everyone to this war. Wait a minute idea. 

"Why don't I sign up too and I can be like a speacial agent or something?" I suggested with excitement at my amazing solution and Stiles nodded her head in excitement before we both started to jump up and down holding hands like school girls. 

"Okay you do that whilst I go rub it in Grandpa Greenburgs face that I actually got enlisted and he didn't" she said before rushing off and out of the bakery. God that girls crazy. 

-TIMESKIP- 

"Okay we will enjoy this night all of us because this is the last night we will all be together" I air as we walked around the area where they are showcasing technology and stuff, fun. Stiles and Bucky were eating it all up but me and Steve just watch the couple happy to just watch them in civilisation together for the last time, not that Steve knew Stiles was also going to war. 

"Would you be mad if us said I was maybe going to try enlist again?" Said Steve in a wary voice and I sighed before turning to look at him. Okay so I knew this was eventually coming. Where he would enlist go to war and probably forget about me in favour of Peggy Carter the pretty British agent that made an impression, doesn't mean it didn't hurt any less though. 

"Nope like I told you you'll do great thing and you ha w to keep trying, Okay?" I Said and he nodded kissing my cheek before leaving the three of us to watch Stark and his failing flying car. 

"Where'd Steve go?" Asked Bucky when he turned around and I saw Stiles frown. She didn't want me to be alone, Little did she know I had my enlistment papers in my purse. 

"To enlist again" I Said and I saw Bucky sigh in worry, concern and slight exasperation. "Go find him well be alright by ourselves for awhile" I Said to the sergeant and he nodded before going to find his friend. "You Tell Bucky yet?" I asked my twin and she just looked sheepish. 

"Okay no but either way it's not going to stop the three of us going to war or you if you sign up and get in" she said and I sighed (god there's a lot of sighing happening tonight) and pulled the papers from my purse. "Or yours also leaving tomorrow" She murmured as she looked o we the papers. "What made them take you in?" She asked me. So you had to have evidence or at least tell them you had a skill which was worth enlisting a female for, and my shooting got me my place. 

"Marksmanship" I Said and she 'ahh' as she remembered my superior archery skills. So I hadn't been able to shoot for quite a while but everything should be okay, right? God please let it be. 

"Well the four best friends going to war together who'd a thought we would end up living in a cliche movie" 

"Shut up you dork"
