Chapter 32: Human

Stiles POV 

"I'm in love ooooooh I'm a believer I couldn't leave her if I tried" I sang as me and Steve watched Shrek for like the 20th time in the hospital room. 

"I thought love was more or less a giving thing The more I gave the less I got oh yeah" sang Steve as we watched Donkey singing with his dragon girlfriend. "I'm glad you showed me this film"

"It's incredibly sad how much you 2 losers have watched this" Said Sam as he and Maria Hill walked into our hospital room. "Seriously watch something else"

"What something sad a depressing like Marley and Me no thank you" I Said to the bird guy who was stood in front of the screen. 

"She's right" Said Steve and I nodded over to him eating more ice cream. 

"Well your being discharged, back to New York it is" Hill Said and I got out of bed. "Well leave you 2 to get your things together" she said and her and Sam left. 

"We're so watch the sequel when we get back aren't we?" Asked Steve and I nodded, guys crazy obviously we're watching it. 

-TIMESKIP-

"Okay you 2 have to get out of this funk, you've been like this for like 4 weeks now" Said Lydia as she tried crawling into mine and Steve's blanket fort. "How'd Steve even get in here?" She asked as she got stuck. 

"I built it around him" I told her and she nodded. "We're not defunking" I told her and the red haired glared. 

"Defunk or I'll let Malia bake everything for the bakery tomorrow" she threatened. 

"Do it, see why I care life has no meaning anymore" I Said flopping back into Steve. 

"Steve talk sense into the women" sai Lydia upset looking to the blonde. 

"Nope because she's right, life's pointless because Allison bought a dress with Stiles and then shit went down and now there's nobody to wear it" he said flopping back. "Life has no meaning"

"Do not make me get Mrs. McCall" Lydia threatened and I sat up straight. 

"You wouldn't dare" 

"Watch me" she said and tatted to wiggle. "In 30 minutes to an hour" 

-TIMESKIP-

"Alright up both of you" Mama McCall said when our blanket fort collapsed. "This stops now, Steve go shower Stiles you too and then I want both of you down here and we're going on a walk and you both need to look like presentable human beings and Steve we aren't returning Allison's yet because there is a chance she'll come back and so will Bucky so asses up now mi e move move move move" 

And we both ran upstairs to the showers. It's funny how Steve is captain golden pants and yet he's afraid of Mama McCall. After a shower and looking presentable I went to my bedroom and saw Peter on the bed doing his biology homework. 

"Hey Stiles" he Said when he saw me walk in. "How are you doing?" He asked and I shrugged flopping on the bed so my head was resting on his lap. "I ha e something to tell you" he said and I raised my head to look at him. "Mr. Stark offered me an internship"

"Wait really? Well obviously but that's great Peter" I cheered for his. 

"Stiles hurry up!!!" Mama McCall shouted and I sighed. I heard footsteps and she was in my room. "I'll grab you some clothes I s sent Lydia to sort Steve out, we're going to a fancy restaurant where you'll look red carpet ready, Peter go shower your coming too" she said and the teen seemed stunned but a simple raise of a brow and he was shooting off into the closest bathroom. 

"Let me guess Tony's agreed to help you get me and Steve out of the house?" I asked and the answering smirk was all I needed. 

"Yes now put this red and gold dress on and those gold and black heels" she said. "I'll be back soon to curl your hair" she said and I was left to get ready on my own.

"Oh you look like a human being again" gushed Erica as I walked downstairs with Steve. "This is great". Me, Steve, Peter, Lydia, Tony and Pepper were going to this fancy restaurant before some gala event for Stark Industries. 

"Yeah yeah let's go, I have a Stark ass to kick"

"I'll help"

"Too right"
