Mark - Surprise!

Requested by @//kpop_fangirl_astro (via instagram). Hope you like it, sorry the first one was hard to think up, but I hope you like it! I hope these will get better as they go along. 

Mark had been out a lot lately. Apparently he had a lot of work to do with the boys. I was tired constantly, trying to make sure that their dorms were always clean with Taeyong. We both couldn't stop cleaning up after the messy boys. 

It was our anniversary.. our 7th one to say the least. 7 years with this one boy. We'd been together just after he got into SM as a trainee. I was proud of him. But I got asked to live with him 2 years ago. Because he couldn't bare to be apart from me. So I got to live in the dorms, only with the exception that the fans don't know. 

I had Marks gift already for him. It was a memory book, with pictures and what we did on that day, with chocolate and other sweets, because that boy needs a treat. I wonder if he had forgotten it, as he hadn't said anything about it all day. 

Mark was in the dance studio, so I went there to see him practice for a while. He caught me watching him and the guys, and smiled. Blowing a kiss in my direction, I pretend to catch it and blow him one back. He pretends to catch it back. Everyone awed at the way we had a lovey dovey relationship. 

It wasn't always flowers, hearts and love. We had our arguments, mainly because he was over working himself. I knew it wasn't his fault. He walks over after his practice. "Hey Crystal." He lightly pecks me on the lips. I just smiled sadly. 

"Hey Markie." I playfully said. 

"What's wrong?" He asked. 

"Nothing, you're overworking yourself all the time still. You really should ask Taeyong if you could have one or 2 nights or days a week where you can relax, so that I can see you properly." I told him. 

"You know, I can't do that. He needs me to on top of my game all the time." 

"I think you should. We hardly see each other, unless I'm in the dance studio with you, or in the room with you. You seem to forget I'm your girlfriend. You also seem to forget that it's our 7 year anniversary today." I growled. I got up and walked out of the room, stomping off back to the dorms. 

Mark was watched me leave in shock. Not that I cared. I was seriously done trying to hint to him.

Mark's pov:

I hadn't forgotten, but I had to pretend I had, otherwise it would ruin the whole surprise for tonight, where me and my hyungs perform a mini concert for her, with a song I asked Taeyong to write with me. Then I had something else special planned for her. 

"Taeyong-hyung... What do I do?" I turned around looking at our leader. 

"Let her calm down, then talk to her later. We will text you when we have everything ready for her. And then you can bring her down here." He smiles, patting my shoulder lightly. We got ready to start practice for another hour. 

I let Crystal calm down for the next 2 hours, I decided to buy her favourite bubble tea and chocolate. I walked into the dorm, and into our room. She was laid in the bed watching BTS videos. I closed the door quietly. 

"Babe, I never forgot. I just never got to see you this morning, I was being rushed out of the door, from waking up late." I came up with an excuse, handing her the chocolate and bubble tea.

She sighs and pats the space beside her, sipping her bubble tea, and quietly eating the chocolate. "Fine. I forgive you." She mutters, turning back to her laptop. I sat beside her, watching them with her, my phone in my hand, ready for the boys to tell me when they wanted me to bring her.

"Crystal, babe." I said, making her glance in my direction. "I have something I need to do with you." 

"Okay..? What is it?" She questioned me. 

"Can't tell you. Come with me." I said. Leading her to the dance studio. The lights were off, and I led her to the couch, making her sit. 

I got into position, our manager pressing play on the soundtrack without vocals and switching the lights on, so that Crystal could see us. I smiled seeing her blue eyes light up. 

We went through the whole performance, making Crystal laugh and smile at the lyrics. She knew they was directed at her and that these were her songs. 

"Crystal. For the longest time ever, I've never fell in love with a better person than you, thank you for being my girlfriend of 7 years. I have a few little presents for you, and I hope you love them." I told her, pulling out a little bag, that had presents wrapped inside of it. 

She opened them up in front of the guys, I had gotten her a matching necklace and bracelet with both of names etched into it. She opened the last box, and inside of it, was a little note:

Dear Crystal, no I am not proposing right now, but I will in the future, for now this is my promise ring to you. I know you'll love it, because it is your birthstone. 

She laughs upon reading it. "Thank you so much Mark. This means the world to me, thank you to all you boys for giving me a fantastic show. I have my presents at home for you." 

We walked back to the dorms, and she ran to our room, bringing back the presents in a box. I opened it up and unwrapped them, the first one was a bunch of chocolate and sweets. I smiled, thanking her for the treats, she had picked all my favorites. Then I opened the next and flipped the book open, looking at all the pictures and smiling at all the memories. I thought they was really cute, and some of them was quite funny, from all our 7 years together. And from even before that when we was best friends.

Taeyong-hyung being the best hyung, had made us a special meal, making everyone else eat in the living room, to give us some space in the kitchen, to eat and talk. And that was how our day went, funny how life works out, with ending up having an awful anniversary to start with, to being the best one.
