Chapter 57

Amy's POV:

I knew it. I knew that this was going to happen. I knew that he would make a move on me. When he kissed me all these thoughts ran through my head.

What if Jayden finds out?

What will Maddie do when she finds out that her so called boyfriend kissed me?

I knew that I had to get away from his house as fast as possible. I wish I could kiss him back and trust me I almost did but I panicked. I don't want any drama and especially not with Maddie and Jayden. I grabbed my stuff and stuffed it in my bag and made my way to the door and before Shawn could get to me, I was already gone. It was dark outside and it was freezing which is rare since it's LA and on top of that it started to rain, really? Right now? I made it home and I was soaked. Have I told you yet that I love my life? Note the sarcasm.

I walked inside and saw Jayden knocked out on the couch while prison break was still on, I smiled down at him and grabbed a blanket tugging him in. I guess he'll sleep on the couch for the night. I picked up the remote and turned off the tv and headed straight to the kitchen. I'm in need of some coffee now. I made myself a cup of coffee and put some creamer and sugar in it and I headed back to the living room. I glanced over at Jayden one last time and headed upstairs.

I plopped down onto my bed and took a deep breath closing my eyes for a few seconds. I looked over at my night stand and saw that it was 00:36 am already which means that I have to wake up at 6 again because Jayden is still trying to keep Shawn away from me. Little does he know that I just saw him not so long ago and he even kissed me but I'm obviously not gonna tell him that. I decided to pull an all nighter since there's still so much work left for our project. I know what you're thinking, it's due April 30th which is in like 8 weeks but I've always been that kinda girl who likes to work forward so I have less stress when it's time to hand in our project. We're lucky that we only have to write an essay about it so I can just do everything in Word. If we had to make a presentation than I would have to face Shawn again which I still have to do since he's my project partner but I'm actually trying to avoid him for a few days now for real. I might not even go to school tomorrow or the rest of the week. I'm probably gonna call in sick tomorrow.

It's been a few hours and it's alright light outside. I looked over at what I've done in these past couple of hours and I'm actually pretty proud. I've done most of the things and I was pretty much done with my part of the project already. I only have to wait for Shawn's part, I hope he will do it otherwise we're fucked and I'm definitely not trying get a bad grade for this.

My door opened revealing Jayden.

"Get ready!"

"I'm sick I don't think I can go to school today" I said fake coughing. He surprisingly believed me and went to get breakfast with Cindy and then he would go to school leaving m all alone at home. Thank god.

I was watching teen wolf when I heard my phone buzz. I looked at who it was and saw Shawn's name. God please no.

From Shawn:
Shawn: I heard that you were sick.. or are you avoiding me after what happened last night?
Shawn: Amy please answer. I know you're reading this.
Shawn: hello!?!?

I ignored him and put my phone face down on the table and signed. This is going to be harder than I thought. What if he will visit me after school?
