Chapter 19

Bella's POV😇

The ride home was silent, I didn't dare utter a word out of fear of the outcome. Although, it was hard to miss the tension in the air.

Thus, I was sitting in front of my parents in the living room, staring at a stain on my white shoes -not daring to throw them a glance knowing very well that they had a look of disgust plastered on their faces.

"Bella. Explain to me why in hell were you in jail with a delinquent." My father's tone was dangerously low.

"I-I got kidnaped, "I whispered hard enough for them to hear, avoiding all eye contact with them.

"Excuse me?" My mother asked flabbergasted.

"For heaven sake look at me when I talk to you." My father ordered.

My gaze slowly met his mature grey eyes that looked so much like mine.

"I was kidnapped." I repeated this time more firmly.

He huffed out, "What did I tell you about lying?"

"But I'm speaking the truth." I hopelessly murmured.

"Didn't I tell you that you can't fool me." He yelled standing up abruptly as I flinched at his tone.

I got off my seat and backed away until I hit the wall.

'There's no escape.'

I gulped at the thought.

"Do I look like an idiot to you?" He asked as he approached me like a hawk.

I stood there silent, frightened at what he will do.

"Answer me!" He sneered as his hand strangled me.

"No!" I choked out as he squeezed my throat in a painful manner.

I held in the tears not wanting to show them how weak I was.

I was getting dizzy from the lack of oxygen seeing black dots as I tried my best not to lose consciousness.

He hammered me to the wall making my head throb from the impact. I couldn't stop the cry of pain that came out of my mouth.

"What did I say about faking it. Stop faking it." He screeched slapping me.

I whimpered loudly angering him even more.

"You don't understand, do you? Of course, you wouldn't if I went that easy on you." The man in front of me has a dangerous glint in his eyes.

My throat was burning and my head was throbbing.

He yanked me by my hair, all the way to the door outside threw me out and I fell on the concrete ground.
