Amber-

"I'm five months along." I say. This is when people start to realize something.

"Wait a minute" my brother notices. "You and Jeremiah broke up only two months ago." He says.

"Yes. I cheated on him." I say.

"With Kai?" My step father asks.

"Yes, but that's not it." I tell them. At this point, they all looked exhausted from all the news. "I don't know if Kai is the father."

"Amber Gena Michaels!" My Mother gasps.

"But if the baby isn't mine then I'm here. Jeremiah left. I'm here thought." Kai butts in. "Don't think for a second I'm only with Amber because of this baby. We fell in love before we found out she was pregnant." Kai tells them.

He squeezes my hand. I love him so much. He is so handsome with his glasses, or contacts. I just love him! I look back at him.

"Have you ever felt the baby kick?" My sister Carol asks.

"No, actually I haven't." Right as I say that, a weird feeling comes from my stomach. I put my hand on my belly. Obviously I looked in pain because Kai brought me to sit down.

"Are you okay?" He asks, he's knelt down on the ground, he hand on my leg.

"More than okay." I take his hand and put it on the belly. "Now I have."

Kai's face lights up. Everyone gets up to come feel my son kick. Through every one surrounding us, I put my hands in his hair, and give him a big kiss. He kisses back. We break apart and just smile. This is happiness.

This is happiness.

"What's the gender?" Katherine asks.

I look over at Kai. He makes a thinking face. He shakes his head. I know exactly what he's thinking.

"Yah, we do. But we want to keep it a surprise until the baby is born." I say. Kai let's out a slight laugh.

"No! Kai Corbett I am practically your older sister you do not get to keep this information from us!" Carol complains. Kai laughs some more.

"I'm sorry Carol, but you only have to wait four more months." He says jokingly.

"Four months too long! Way too long!" Carol laughs. Kai laughs. Everyone laughs.

This is family. This is happiness. This is how my life is supposed to be.
