Let's say you're doing it like Eddie Brock and don't want people to immediately know that you're attached to a symbiote ... or that it attached to you. You didn't mean to scare your boyfriend and didn't want him to break up with you. After all, you didn't know how much he could handle. Yes, he fought the Shredder and yes he fought the Krang but this was different. This was YOU. You were so scared and nervous to tell him. You started off with just the hand, traveling up your arm. He couldn't believe his eyes, was this really happening? You'd need to tell him that you're NOT front he Krang, need to explain what that symbiote was. It would take him SO LONG to get used to it. Especially if your symbiote was vocal like Venom himself. Show him that you're not evil, that you truly not hurting anyone (unless it's bad guys). And try your hardest to only walk around in your human form, at least for the first few months. Until he asks to fully see your symbiote.
