This question is seriously so hard to answer. Cause I feel like they'd want to be with you for as long as they can but at the same time they don't want you to suffer. Also, you kind of betrayed the group and put them into danger by not telling them about your bite. People want to get rid of you, leave you behind, kill you. They would never let that happen and promise to stay away from the group., If you had to leave, they would leave too. As for either killing or leaving you ... I don't even know. I don#t think they could shoot you in the head and live with that. But then again, can they leave you somewhere, all by yourself? Surrounded by zombies? Until you turn? They knew it wouldn't be long anymore and that you'd turn into this functioning only ... thing. You'd forget about them. You'd probably try to bite them. Eat them.
The best thing they could do is sit with you and explain to you why they couldn't stay with you. They'd rather have you turn than kill you that's for sure, but wasn't leaving you behind the same as killing? But if you wanted to be shot ... they'd do it. Whatever you want, they'd do. Apart from staying with you and getting killed too.
Now of course you could say that they'd die with you, but this isn't a romcom and they've been there, surviving for the longest time. It is hard but live had to go on. They knew it, you knew it. You were just happy they were there in the last final hours and left before they saw you turn.
