Well depending on where you are (the hospital or at home) it would be different. If you had to stay in the hospital he might not be able to stay (or to be seen; but that's another story). If you're at home he would gladly take on all the work. You've been pregnant for long enough, let him do something too. So while you were sleeping he was getting your daughter ready for bed. Granted you helped him bathe her - and put that onesie on - but he had to change her once more. He was a little frustrated but didn't say a single word. You were sleeping peacefully and had to feed her in a few hours anyway, he wanted you to make the most of those quiet hours. He's not the kind of dad to sit down with her and read something. He needs to walk around, gently rock her back and forth. Mumbling sweet nothings or even hum a song. Anything, really as long as he doesn't wake you up. But even if he does, don't be mad at him, he's trying his hardest and as a first time dad he's not that bad!
