He did surprisingly well. Contrary to Raph, he actually listened and did some research. Granted, he was no doctor but he carried on like a pro. Maybe it was the excessive reading, the documentaries and I don't know what or maybe he was a bit more mature. After all, he did everything he could during the past 9 month to make you happy, keep the baby safe and plan for everything. It's like this pregnancy turned him into a grown up. However, this doesn't mean that he won't have a slight panic attack. It took him a while before he could react, before his brain realized that he had to help you. He tried his hardest to not faint, you needed him and most importantly your baby needed him. "Grow some balls, Michael", he said to himself, "this is no place and time to be childish".
After the baby was born (and healthy) he was so goddamn proud. Of you, of your child, of himself. He did it! Without fainting or screaming. He was still shaking though but it was just the nerves. Mikey was just happy that you survived - and wouldn't want to do it a second time. He'll leave that to the pros.
