The big, burly turtle is no one to hide his feelings. Whether that is anger, pain or frustration. He might not tell you what he feels but you can read him like a book. Maybe it's because you've been close ever since you met the guy or because he opened up a little. You could also tell how much he cared about you. You, your family, your private and professional life. He wants to know all about it, still without being nosey. So of course he wanted to know what was going on. Was it work related? Family? Something else. And when you told him he just sat there. Next to you, his arm wrapped around, giving you security and comfort. He was there for you no matter what. Internally he was a mess: angry at your boyfriend, nervous because you were so close to him and deep down a little excited too. Not that you'd ever fall in love with him but still. Raphael is smart and knows if something is not feeling right you should either try to fix it or let go of it completely. Still, this was not his decision to make. No matter what you'd do though, he'd be there to catch you. To talk with you, listen to you, love you.
