S O O - Y O U N G

After staying over at Mingyu's house until twelve A.M. He was kind enough to drop me off and I was thankful. I went to sleep right when I got home because of how exhausted I was. Today was my day off and I was going out with Vernon. He just got back from L.A. last night.

I had to drop off my notebook and some paperwork to Mr.Kim since I forgot to give it to him yesterday. I flattened out my skirt and quickly went down since the taxi was waiting outside for me. Vernon said he would pick me up afterwards which I appreciated.

"Hey Ming-" I say but stop myself once I realize what I was about to say.

I clear my throat before speaking again. I fix my posture and politely bow to him.

"G-good morning, M-mr.Kim." I stutter.

He's looking at me with an amused smile. I'm so embarrassed right now. That was so unprofessional, oh my gosh.

"Here's the summary for the blueprints." I say as I hand him my notebook. "I also finished the paperwork." I tell him.

He takes the folder and my notebook from me while nodding in approval.

"What would I do without you?" He asks and I laugh.

I dramatically flip my hair over my shoulder and this time, he's the one laughing.

"Thank you!" He says as I begin to walk towards the door.

"Of course, see you tomorrow!" I tell him as I walk out.

Once I shut the door, I get a text from Vernon saying that he's waiting for me outside. I pick up my pace and get into the elevator.

M I N G Y U

Soo-young didn't have work today which made me a little sad to be honest. So, I made an excuse and told her that I needed her notebook just so I can see her. I feel like I need to see her at least once, everyday otherwise i'll go insane.

The feelings that i've developed towards her have increased over time and anything she does has an effect on me. I'm whipped for this girl. My thoughts were interrupted when she walks through the door and my breathe hitched once I noticed her.

She was smiling happily. Her hair was curled perfectly and her makeup was subtle yet flawless. Though, her outfit was what pulled everything together. The way it was showing off her curves and hugged her body perfectly made me want to risk it all.

The top exposed her stomach a bit which made me feel slightly protective. Other men get to see this and I can't do anything about it because she isn't mine. It pissed me off slightly because I just wanted her. She's so beautiful and anyone could see that.

Vernon and I went shopping for a bit before deciding to head to his house and order in some chicken and pizza. We also wanted to talk and catch up with each other so his place was the perfect spot to do that.

Plus, he was going to give me the Calvin Klein merch that he promised to get. I was so excited because I really loved that brand and I find it amazing how my bestfriend was able to work with them.

We were sitting on the couch and he began to show me the pictures from the shoot. He had a solo shoot in the underwear and some with the clothing. They turned out really well and I was very impressed.

"Damn, you look hot!" I tell him.

"Thank you." He laughs. "They put my picture in like, fifty stores all around America." He says.

"Fifty?!" I ask in astonishment. "That's my bestfriend!" I cheer.

He grins at my reaction and reaches behind him. He pulls out a Calvin Klein shopping bag and hands it to me. My mouth gapes open and I gasp. He gestured for me to open it and I gladly take the bag, placing it in my lap.

I pull out the first item and it's a pair of black leggings with the name written on the waistband. The next item was a pair of black sweatpants that i've been wanting since for like, ever.

He also got them for me in light grey too. There were also a couple of t-shirts. Lastly, there were a bunch of sports bras and underwear at the bottom of the bag. My eyes widen as I see them and I throw my body onto him. Squeezing him tightly while thanking him multiple times.

"You're welcome, they gave it to me for free." He says as I get off of him.

"All of this?!" I ask while putting the clothes back into the bag.

"Yup." He nods. "Plus the stuff that I got for myself and the shirts I got for Wonwoo and Joshua." He adds.

"Wow, i'm jealous." I tell him.

The doorbell rings and Vernon gets up to answer the door. I was assuming that it was the delivery guy with our food. As he disappears, his phone began to ring. I check the caller ID and immediately pick up once I see Yeri's name.

"Thank you!" I hear her shout at the other end of the line.

I quickly pull the phone away from my ear. I think I might've gone deaf. I put the phone on speaker and begin to talk.

"Ya! why are you so loud?!" I scold her.

"Huh? Soo-young, is that you?" She asks.

"Mhm, I'm with Vernon right now." I tell her.

"Ohh, where is he?" She asks.

"I'm right here." He says, setting the box of food down on the coffee table.

"I got the gift! Thank you!" She says happily.

"You're welcome, I'm glad you like it." He tells her.

"I wish I could come over right now but, I have work in a little bit." She says in a sad tone.

"Aw, we'll make plans soon." I tell her and she agrees.

"Okay well, have fun and enjoy your meal." She says to us.

"Thank you, we will." Vernon and I respond back in unison.

We say goodbye to each other and end the call. I place his phone down on the couch while Vernon opens up the pizza box. My mouth waters at the beautiful bbq chicken pizza.

"Let's eat!" He says eagerly before we both grab a slice.

i'm trying to clear some space on my phone so that i can download an app to make a new cover for this book because i'm getting tired of looking at the ugly one that's currently up. hopefully i can do it sooner than later.
