Chapter 72
Evie's POV // Look at Me

After the initial shock of Niall asking me to move in with him, we celebrated over the dinner he had prepared for us. He hadn't intended to ask me in that night, but from the looks of the dinner you'd think that was the plan all along. It was incredibly romantic, and of course complete by dining under candle light...because Niall refused to have dinner at home any other way.

I'm not complaining though. It's one of our 'things'. I hope that doesn't change once we're living under the same roof.

Niall knew I would need a plan for this whole endeavor or else my mind would go into over drive, and as usual he does everything in his power to prevent me from over thinking. As soon as the dishes were done he wasted no time in cuddling up to me on the couch to discuss the logistics of it all.

We talked about my work situation and how I could work from Ireland or London or LA or wherever else we find ourselves. I'll travel to Nashville whenever I need to, but for the most part my job can be done remotely, unless Beck just wants to fire me...which is highly doubtful.

We joked about that, but Niall also made it perfectly clear that I didn't have to work. The thought of letting him support me almost made me sick...but I know he knows I'm not in it for that and truly would love to take care of me.

While I appreciate that, I do love what I do and I can't really see myself not working any time soon. So we move to the next discussion point.

This arrangement also allows me to join him for almost the entire tour, accept for the work engagements I have to attend, and i'm thrilled about that. I really did want to be there for him as much as possible, and this will make everything so much easier.

This is the most stable and at peace I've been in a long time. This feels right. I know this is the right decision.

Niall is elated that I said yes. You'd almost think he asked me to marry him with how happy he is. He's been smiling from ear to ear ever since.

After bringing me a fresh cup of coffee, Niall ran to his study and came back with a stack of papers that were print outs of house listings from his agent.

We cuddled and flipped through them all as he asked me my opinion on every single one. Some I liked more than others, some he liked more than others, a few we agreed on, but at the end of the stack we basically decided that we would just have to see them in person to know for sure.

I can't wait.

The next morning I was very happy to wake up and join Niall for a morning trip to get breakfast in LA. I was able to see a bit more of the city on the drive. He took me to his favorite smoothie place and we were able to walk around for just a few minutes before heading back to his house.

Our house?

When we got back I immediately hopped in the shower, as instructed, to wash my hair since his glam squad would be here to fix us up soon.
