They don't know about us//Sweet Pea

Y/N hated the fact that people were judging her boyfriend Sweet Pea. They swore that he is the bad guy and would only hurt her in a mental and physical way. However, they didn’t know what was beneath the thick skin of the serpent. He was the most lovable boy she had ever met and was her own personal cinnamon roll.

But something she hated even more, was that they were also judging her relationship with him. They said they shouldn’t be together since they were still so young and didn’t know a thing about love. Those words especially left the mouth of Y/N’s brother, Archie. She never saw someone being so hated by her big brother. He just didn’t know Sweet Pea and would never since he was a too big dickhead to even try to understand. Archie would never understand what Sweet Pea had done to her; How he healed her heart after being throwing into pieces as she was stood by or when people made her feel unloved and unwanted.

Sweet Pea swore that they were just jealous and didn’t know anything about them. They didn’t know how he made her world whole with every kiss he left on her cheek when he hugged her or how he would try to put all of his huge rings on her tiny fingers. How could people not see this side of him, the most caring boyfriend someone could ask for. Her father tried, but she saw how unhappy he was about her dating a Serpent. He tried to be nice, but even this was hard to watch when you knew it was only fake.

Sweet Pea was the one who held her in his arms, trying to tell her it will get better, but only their love got better and stronger. Those people were cruel and those tears couldn’t help but sting in her eyes on a lonely night. She wanted to love and care for him in public, to show everyone that he was hers and she was his without getting a stupid remark.

How could people not understand how much in love those two were and how special their love was. It was the love that made you fly over cloud seven and make your heart swell every second you spend together. They just don’t know what they are talking about. They didn’t know about the things they did, said or felt. Never something felt more right for those two and they couldn’t wait to leave those behind, even when it meant to face the death.

„They just don’t know about us,“ Sweet Pea whispered in her ear as they were cuddling in their tent. It was summer break and they tried to find some relief and distance from all the non-killer-related drama in Riverdale. Y/N sighed and sat up, still staying close to his chest. „I know, but I hate it so much. Why can’t they just accept our love?“

He pulled her back into arms and kissed her forehead. „One day, they will my love.“ Before any of the two could continue, the noise of footsteps around the tent made them sit up. „Stay here,“ Sweet Pea whispered as he sneaked out of the tent with a flashlight in his hand. As the noises closed the distance, Y/N didn’t want to him to leave alone. She didn’t want him to get hurt.

As she followed his lead and climbed out of the tent, Sweet Pea looked angry at his girlfriend. „Didn’t I tell you to stay inside?“ „And leave you here alone like in a horror movie? Hell no, not going to hap-,“ She was cut off as Sweet Pea put the light on a covered person. As the person came closer, she saw another person behind the first one. She was ready to attack as the person ripped down the hood. „Calm down, Y/N, it’s just me.“

It was her brother Archie with Veronica in tow. „I tried to stop him,“ Veronica started but before she could continue, Y/N began to slap her brother‘s chest. He hissed and tried to push his sister away as Sweet Pea took her in his arms. When she let go, you could see tears began to form in her eyes and her boyfriend calmly moved his hand through her hair. „Archie? Why? Why do you keep doing this?“

Archie sighed and it was all too familiar to his sister‘s, after all, they are related. „Can’t you see it? He is dangerous!“ „Will you just stop and leave me alone?“ Y/N screamed at her brother. „Can’t you just stop? You are destroying the only thing that keeps me alive? You and all those stupid neighbors don’t know a damn thing about us!“ Y/N turned around and stormed back into the tent, only letting the other three teenagers hear her sob. „You should go,“ Sweet Pea murmured soft and went into the tent to his girlfriend and Veronica pulled her boyfriend back to the town, as he gaped at what he had done
