It was the day after the U.A. Sports Festival.

You were back in Homeroom class and Aizawa just let the whole class know that there would be no school tomorrow and the day after.

"I'm sure the pro Heroes who watched the sports festival will want to recruit you..." Aizawa started to say, but you tuned him out when you got distracted by the tense aura of the person behind you.

Bakugo was still furious over his win, eyes slanted while his body shook in his seat, which caused tremors to ripple throughout your own desk.

You quickly grew tired of it, unable to take it anymore. You turned around with a huff but paused once you saw the sight of Bakugo clenching his gold medal in his teeth, face contorted in anger.

"Can you stop being so pissy about your win? I'm trying to pay attention, Hedgehog

"Can you stop being so pissy about your win? I'm trying to pay attention, Hedgehog." You tilted your head, poking his cheek.

You were curious to see if he'd drop the medal but the action only seemed to embarrass or tick him off...or maybe both...because his ears turned red, his breathing became rash, and he puffed up his chest.

"I'LL KILL YOU, STUPID CAT GIRL!" His outburst made the medal drop from his mouth with a loud plunking noise as it hit his desk.

You laughed, scooping up his medal while dodging his grabby hands and shoving it back when he opened his mouth to yell at you again.

His face went sour once the taste of metal hit his tongue.

"Bakugo! l/n!" Aizawa snapped and you immediately turned back to face the front of the classroom. "As I was saying..." His eyes lowered, feeling a headache coming on already. "We'll consolidate everything and announce it when you get back. So rest well, and look forward to that." Aizawa dismissed class after that.

As you began to pack up, your eyes travelled and lingered on Iida's empty desk. You heard from Midoriya and Ochaco that his older brother, Ingenium, had been struck down by a villain and was at Hosu hospital in critical condition.

I can't imagine how hard that must be...to see someone you love to be in that position. You thought with a frown.

While you were deep in thought, you didn't notice the two-toned boy, who had already finished gathering his stuff and was standing in front of your desk and waiting patiently, even after most of the students already left the classroom.

"You alright, y/n?" Todoroki finally decided to speak up, forehead puckering and eyebrows furrowing when he noticed your sad expression.

"Oh, yeah...I was just thinking about Iida and his brother. It just makes me sad to think about it...having a loved one in the hospital like that-" You stopped talking once you saw Todoroki flinch, his eyes falling to the side.

Crap! How stupid am I?! I forgot Todoroki's mom is stuck in a hospital...

"I'm sorry, Shoto. I didn't mean to..."
