"You knew she was coming, didn't you?" You whispered harshly, with pinched lip and squinting at a shifty-eyed Todoroki, who was refusing to look at you.

Instead, he traced the lines of one of his palms.

You gave a small huff, lips falling into a brief pout before you perked up your head.

"Yeah, that sounds great!" You answered. "In fact...why don't I help you, Fuyumi?" You offered, face animating with round eyes and delighted smile.

Todoroki tilted his chin up, about to interject and say you should be studying, not making snacks...but he found himself with his mouth parted, alone in the study because you had already taken off with Fuyumi.

Both of you were heard laughing down the hallway on the way to the kitchen.

He sighed, head in his hands and lightly shaking his head. His mouth curved into a small smile though, remembering how cute you looked and how worked up he had made you before he heard his sister coming down the hall. For whatever reason, he decided to flip open your notebook again, eyes glazing through your drawings of him once more and reading 'y/n Todoroki' in fancy cursive writing with a heart at the end of it.

y/n Todoroki...has a nice ring to it... He thought, another ghost of a smile appearing on his features.

"-I can't believe Shoto was like that or did that as a child!" You laughed before slicing up another piece of strawberry in half.

"You best believe it! My youngest brother used to be so precious and full of life before-" Fuyumi bit her lip, trailing off. "Well, you know..." She flashed you a forced small reassuring smile before continuing her motion of cutting the crust off the bread slices.

"Yeah..." You couldn't mask the frown or sadness in your voice.

"But-" Fuyumi put her small knife down on the cutting board before walking over to you. "Good thing is, ever since he's met you...he's changed. For the better."

You stopped peeling one of the bananas.

"You think so...?" You asked, voice having gotten softer and gaze shifting to the floor.

"Uh-huh, I know so. I've watched him grow up...and I've seen the change in his eyes. The way he looks at you, y/n...he's like a whole different Shoto. A happy one. I don't know how you melted his walls, but..."

Your eyes widened in surprise when she threw her arms around you in an embrace.

"-I'm so happy you did." She whispered, her eyes watering after you hugged her back when you heard the last part of her sentence. Fuyumi finally released you, wiping away her tears and you smiled at her. "I'm sorry for getting weirdly emotional." She sniffed.
