Just as you were about to try and catch up to Bakugo, who already took the initiative to trek back down the hill before you, you both stopped in your tracks and shielded your faces when a thick beam of ice flew across, freezing the entirety of the beast's face that had just surfaced over the hill.
You watched as the beast started wobbling backwards, blinded with ice while getting tripped by a speedy blur that was dashing madly around its clunky feet.
As if that weren't enough to doom the beast, a flash of green came bounding across the air, kicking it straight in the chest with tremendous force. Its head cracked into chunky pieces once it hit the ground.
You turned your head back to where the ice had come from in the first place, spotting a familiar dual color haired boy, who had a fraction of his cheek frosted with ice and was clutching his side and breathing heavily in exhaustion.
"Shoto! Are you OK??"
He released another heavy breath, wiping his cheek with the back of his hand before nodding slowly at you as a greeting and for confirmation that he was fine.
You whipped your head in two other directions to see that Iida was the speedy blur and that Midoriya was the one who landed the final blow on the beast.
"Iida, Midoriya!" You waved to the both of them since they were catching their breaths and recovering in two different spots.
"y/n-kun!"
"y/n-chan!"
Both Iida and Midoriya forced a smile at you but you have to say all three boys looked like they just went through hell and back. Their bodies and their basic U.A. school uniforms were covered in stains and scrapes.
Not much different to what you and Bakugo looked like actually...but you didn't realize how badly worn down you looked too.
"I'm glad you guys are here!! I thought Bakugo and I were the only ones who didn't make it out yet!"
The three boys joined together while you ran down the rest of the hill, passing Bakugo, who glared and growled in annoyance as you dashed towards the trio.
"I thought the Hedgehog got us lost forever!" You joked, much to Bakugo's chagrin, glaring as he made his way down the hill while you got to Todoroki, throwing your hands over his neck in an embrace that took him off guard.
He recovered rather quickly though, managing to get a sentence out.
