You braced yourself for a verbal lashing when you saw Bakugo step inside through the small opening.
"What the hell is taking you both so damn long-?!"
His sharp ruby eyes made direct eye contact with you and he was about to chastise you for taking so long with the lights until he spotted Todoroki a little bit behind you.
You squinted at first, eyes widening after noticing how rough and ruffled up Bakugo's appearance was.
His face was marked with bruises and scuff marks, and because he was wearing a black tank top, the deep cuts and lashes on his arms were clearly visible.
Worried with brows furrowed, you were going to ask what happened.
Maybe there was a breach and he had run into some villains or something, but by the way he was acting abnormally calm told you otherwise.
Bakugo's head sauntered suspiciously between you and Todoroki.

He noticed all the wrinkles on your clothes, the way the half and half bastard's hair wasn't perfectly parted like it usually was, the one mat casually on the floor, but most of all, the higher temperature in the small storage room. His glare deepened when after observing all this, he caught the slightest smirk edging onto Todoroki's lips. He immediately put a hand out to move you aside while creating a path for him to stomp over to face the taller teenage male.
"Hey, Katsuki-?" You called out as the ash blonde brushed past you, a heated but scarily silent vibe coming off of him.
Oh no, here they go again... You closed your eyes, mentally preparing yourself in case you had to pull the two from a fight.
When it was just quiet, you peeked an eye open to see the two staring each other down.
Bakugo was the first to move, loud 'tch!' heard from him as he bent over in front of Todoroki.
"Move over, Icyhot." He growled.
Todoroki seemed to be surprised, teetering back to allow Bakugo to pick up another string of lights.
"Stupid Deku...bullshit punishment..." You heard Bakugo grumble, his arms full while shuffling past you towards the door.
Deku? Punishment? Your ear perked up. You thought Bakugo would have been complaining about Todoroki but hearing that gave you a tiny clue as to what may have happened to him. Him and Deku must have gotten into a fight while Todoroki and I-...? And then they got in trouble for it...?
"Katsuki-" To confirm your hunch, you tried to put a hand on his shoulder to stop him, which worked because he paused momentarily, but then he aggressively shrugged off your hand.
"I don't give a shit about what the two of you did in here."
Your eyes grew wide at his statement, but you shouldn't be surprised about Bakugo's keen observation skills at this point. Before you could say anything though, the boy was already out the door. You were going to go after him but a pull on your shoulder held you back.
